Charities...who gives more, Lib's or Conservatives?

Who gives more?
We Americans are damn tired of being thought of as dumb by the rest of the world. So we went to the polls in November and removed all doubt.

Church collection boxes don't count. We all know conservatives attempt to buy themselves a place upstairs. The more intelligent among us know it's a bungalow.

As a centre-left individual, I give £6000 ($11,895.16 USD) to charity each year divided between 12 charities through my business.

So - LIBERALS.

Does it really matter who gives more? What matters is that one gives and does so because they want to and want to help another.

No I don't give to get into the "bungalow." I give because I am able too and I feel blessed to have what I have.

This is another stupid thread.

 .... "Stupid Thread Fred".

Charities be damned. Liberals try to initiate programs so that charity won’t be necessary. And don’t give me that weak excuse that that’s “tax and spend.” Tax and spend is starting wars against third-world nations that last for 100 years, at a trillion dollars per year.

We'll I guess your post answered Fred's question. Charity is not charity if it is not given freely.

Liberals want to remove one of the finer qualities of an individual?

Sounds like a stupid idea to remove one of the finer lessons our children can learn!

As long as the gap between the rich and the poor doesnt get narrow there will always be charities..

As for who gives more between Libs and Cons its Conservatives just to make sure there is always that gap....
