I posted a reply which in error has been posted to the main board, oops.
Just to enlightened every one I have received another email promoting the give away and found this in the small print:

"The draw will take place by 30 August 2008"

So maybe we should be patient or end up with a spare! if we can not hold out. My Previous post was :

Hi Will, Many Thanks. I have emailed Customer Care. I can't wait to check it out.

hi - just to let you all know King of Shaves Azors to the 3,000 competition winners are going to be sent out very shortly. we have had 25,000+ entrants, so apologies if you don't win one. They will be on sale in Boots from 21st July, and if you're in London, come along to our Help a London Child fundraiser with Capital FM on July 25th, where we're hoping to shave 1,000 heads... (:-). If you choose to have your head shaved, you'll be in with a chance to win an all expenses paid holiday for 2 to Mauritius too.

azor review

Postby yiannis on Fri Jul 11, 2008 3:00 pm

Just to add my experience with Azor.

I bought this because of comments I read in magazines and since it is much cheaper than power fusion's cartriges which run out, I decided to give it a try.

My beard is very thick and hard and although so far mach 3 and then fusion power where the only ones I could use, they still clogged and caused razor burns and red spots.

Shaving was a nightmare for me. I also tried other brands (wilkinson) and electric shavers as well but nothing worked.

When I tried azor for first time I was so excited my wife was making fun of me for acting like that for a razor.

Azor just glides over my face cutting the beard as close as fusion does but with no pain. And best of all I dont get razor burn any more and my face is spotless.

Thank you guys for a great product.

When my current shaving gel runs out (Origins) I ll try your ultragel as well ( I ve never tried your shaving software yet)

King of Shaves rules the USA

I have used the King of Shaves gel religiously for years. I love finding an obscure (here in America) product that outperforms the competition. I will look for the Azor product here, as I have had good experience with a Kai manufactured razor marketed over here as Old Spice.

I have always used King of Shave gels and shaving oils as I have pretty sensitive skin. I have always used Gillette products, and tried the Fusion but quickly discarded it as for the extra cost, you didn't get a better shave at all. I really don't have a coarse beard at all, so the cartridges last a good few shaves.

I will look out for the product at the weekend in my local boots store to see if I can get it, and then leave some feedback. I hadn't seen or heard about this until now, so from that respective maybe KOS are lagging a wee bit behind the Gillette marketing machine.

hi there, we reckon you'll love the azor shave - we reckon we've had over 200,000 people shave with it now, and the overwhelming feedback has been great. it's in boots nationwide, and our replacement blades, the most expensive part of shaving are about half the price of their powered fusion counterpart, and last longer into the bargain too - check out my http://brandroyalty.com blog for some proof. best wishes, will king

Hi Will,
Thanks for the offer!

My address is
45 Blink O' Forth
Prestonpans

Check this story out that happened today:

My 18 months old daughter opened one of my drawers pulling everything out. While trying to stop her and put all items back inside I noticed a forgotten power fusion cartridge with four unused blades. Bummer! Now I have to use them. So I shave half my face and then gave up cause of the pain and got my Azor to shave the other half. Azor was just gliding as usual.

Now a few hours have passed and half my face that was shaved with the power fusion is burning while the other half is cool and nice. It is a weird sensation to have half your face with razor burn, but definitely better than the whole face.

Seriously I am thinking just to give/throw away the unused power fusion blades and never use them again. \even if that is wasting 8 pounds

Kind regards
Yiannis

Hey just to let you guys know I went out yesterday and bought the Azor, I could not wait to see if I had won in the competition  , unfortunately sainsburys didnt have ANY white Azors so I got the black one.

I have to say EASILY the best shave I have ever had which is exactly what I expected I had total confidence in it being better than the Fuzion power and it was, congratulations Will.

All you need to do now is get advertisements for the Azor and your software or get better placement in stores because its just not noticable and easy to find in ANY stores I have been to, also with NO adverts (that i have seen anyway) not many people kno about the products you sell.

I have friends that say "I just use the Mach3 Turbo/Fuzion/Quattro that does me fine" and I do hassle them to try your stuff but because they have not seen any marketing or such to back up my opinion they are just not massively interested :?

P.S. The only advantage with the Fuzion is the 'precision trimmer' for under the nose and clean cut sideburns, I mean the Azor still does the job BUT it is easyer to cut/nick myself under the nose than with the precision blade.

Once again congrats on creating a great product (thats CHEAPER and BETTER) thats better than the competition :D

Chris.

learn to shave!!

I do not understand how people managed to have lots of cuts after using the product.

However, the rubber pad makes it feel a bit disconnected so perhaps users were expecting the same feedback as you would get from a standard blade.

Whilst the shave was good I would think only as good as my sensor excel which I return to after falling for the promise of the perfect shave from 40 bladed goliaths.

Certainly worth using if the long blade life claim is backed up in reality.
