Hey, Sandy, not to be rude or patronising, but have you tried anything to spice it up? Maybe some toys or some sexy duds? (even if you make HIM wear them heheh!) the catalog section on this site has some lovely stuff. How about buying a book like the Karma Sutra (or diging yyour old copy out) any trying something you havent done for a while.

Sandy - are you bored with sex, or bored with sex with him? Would sex with him be OK if it was more interesting? Does he always make the first move or do you? Would you like to spice things up a bit, or does he suggest things which you don't want to do? Do you both have sex as often as you both want?

Married 16 years, bored sex? Oy Vey, for over the last 24 months I've had a problem with E.D. and yet while I may not "perform" as I did once, my wife and I can still make it "interesting" and get needs met! It isn't just Missionary Style..the ONLY THING stopping most couples in IMAGINATION! Willingness to "lend a hand", "carpet munching", oils, scents, candles, hot showers or baths, and even some KY in strange places now and then! Sometimes you have to give more than you get, but then if your partner is half-human, it gets returned at a later date. IE: Swallow and don't choke! Or work on her until she's wet from crotch to knees...if ya get what I mean, and if ya don't, you need a life.
Last ditch effort, go out and get 1/2 drunk and act like a couple teenagers and embarras your kids...how the hell did they get there in the first place? Hmmmmmm???????????????? If they are over 12, I'm sure they know what gives. Even if it makes them uneasy to see parents being lovey dovey....anyone got the idea yet?
