inverted nipples

Postby Sand1 on Mon Aug 04, 2008 2:14 am

I've always had inverted nipples, I've been using nipplette on and off for 6 years but like so many other women I find them inconvienent. I, like the 'guest' 26/11/07 though, do find the gym a good answer wieght lifting is excellent and whereas I admit I do need my boobs lifted - 2 weeks at the gym and hey presto I'm O.K.
I'm 11 stone - ish and 5'3'' could be slimmer, but I think skinny people get IN as well. I was incested at 11 years old, so I think mine stems from that.

PS I've tried sitting in the bath wearing nipplette and it does help.

I'm 45 now and one day I wll sit on the beach topless. :grinning:

Im 37.4 weeks ago i had surgery to correct my inverted nipps.i wish i had it done years ago.they are amazing!!! ok the surgery was a bit uncomfortable, the needle felt like a little scratch.after a couple of seconds they went numb, so didnt feel anything.it took an hour all together.the first nite was really painful, but woke up and was comfortable, just a bit awkward with the dressing.had to keep them on for 2weeks. i had tried everything on the market to get my nipps out, they never saw the light of day, untill surgery,so if you r thinking of having them done..go for it..i wasted so many years embarrassed about them..it cost £1200 money well spent

Hi Girls

I had my nipples pierced today to bring my innies out!! (cheaper option if you cant afford surgery) If you've not heard of this check out the link below.

http://news.bmezine.com/2006/11/09/lucky-bmegirl-thursday-615/

I was sceptical about the result but my nipples look just as good as the girl's on this pictures.

I am however in A LOT of pain! I've been taking paracetamol all day and I feel really miserable I did not know it will be this painful!!!

I must say the do look good but at the moment I am in sooo much pain I'm not sure if it was worth it!!! My long term partner isn't impressed either as he didn't really care that I had inverted nipples and isn't obviously impressed at the fact that he cannot go near them for at least 4 - 5 months, that's how long they will take to heal!!!

Anyway girls if you are thinking about it as a solution just bear in mind it is extremely painful! I would dare say I hurt as much as when I gave birth to my daughter! But on a positive note they do look good, I hope once the pain is gone I will be able to appreciate them a little more!!! :?

Also if you are under-age and want to get your nipples pierced you will need written consent from your parents.

Inverted nipples

I have always had inverted nipples and have known about Avent Nipplette and surgery as a cure but never considered piercing because that look just doesn't appeal to me.

I have always wanted to try the Nipplette but fear that it just won't work. I can pull my nipples out manually, so I don't think they are as inverted as some other peoples, although it is much more difficult for one than the other.

Has the Nipplette worked for anyone as a permanent cure, bearing in mind that my nipples are quite easily coaxed out?

By the way, no guy I've ever been with has been bothered by my nipples, and say that I am fine as I am, but I have always been embarassed and ashamed of it and am wary whenever I start a new relationship. I can totally relate to everyones comments, especially about wearing a bra for at least the first few times I have sex in a new relationship!!

inverted nips

I too have inverted nips and have tried nipplette and they keep falling off, though it is really nice for a few hours to have "normal nips". Have an appointent in Sept to discuss surgery. May have breast enlargement at the same time as they say that helps push them out too.... has anyone trie it? Jackie

I'm 15 years old and i too have inverted nipples, it has been something i've been so embarrased about and have asked my mom for avent niplette because surgery isn't an option for me yet, and i'm not brave enough for the piercing. My nipples do come out when i'm cold and they stay out while i'm cold or just out of the shower. I want it to stay like that. If anyone has any suggestions or has a similar situation please let me know !

For years I've hated my inverted nipples, and would have done anything to get outies. But reading everyones post, with all the shame, embarassment and money and pain involved in 'cures', it made me realise that I just need to learn to love them. While I may hate them, all my husband (or anyone else!) sees is a pair of breasts!

If there are so many of us inverts out there, why don't we stand up and be proud? The only reason we are so embarassed is that nobody talks about it. Guys freak out because they don't even know its possible!

I dare you all to bare your beautiful breasts on the beach. I bet you're not the only one there with inverted nipples.

This isn't going to be easy for me, undoing years of shame, but I think it has to be done.

Hello,

Its great to find this site, as I too have inverted nipples from birth. I have also used the nipplette for the last 6 yrs on and off. Having the same problems as many of you on here with soreness, weeping and even bleeding if the suction is to hard. I have also tried using the breast shield over the nipplette to stop it from falling off, if you sleep on your back at night then this would be great for you...I like to sleep on my front and I don't feel comfortable wearing them during the day, as I feel they make my breast shape look abnormal.. My nipples were great at first using the nipplette but as I used them for a long period of time, they seem to retract most of the time again.

My nipples have never popped out until using the nipplette and I do agree that you really do need to persevere with using this method & it can work for some. But for me I feel after 6 yrs the only option is to have surgery.

I have had one consolation with a surgeon, who says he can do the procedure without causing damage, that would stop me from breast feeding in the future. I have two quotations one for £2098.00, this is on offer at the moment with £250 off & another for £1753.00. The dearest quote is for the hospital that is used for extreme makeovers, very posh like a 5 star hotel.. And the surgeon is very confident it will work, if it doesn't he said the nipple will retracted within months after surgery and they will perform the procedure again for free. After this he said if it does retract then it is just natures way. However, he has never had a case were the nipple has retracted after the surgery.

This week I am going to find out which procedure the cheapest quotation uses, as researching into the surgery there are a few different ways. I will then have to make a decision as to which hospital I will have my nipple correction at. I know this is very expensive but if it works then it will be worth every penny.

I will keep you up dated on my progress & if anyone knows of any cheaper quotes please let me know, thanks!
im 20 and since i was 10 i noticed i too had inverted nipples like many people writing on this forum one nipple is more inverted than the other and they both do come out when stimulated or cold! i was reading peoples post on getting your nipples pierced and was amazed you could do that ive always wanted my nipples pierced but never knew you could get it done with inverted nipples i just wondered how it works may sound stupid but do you have to stimulate the nipple first to get the nipple to come out a way before they can clamp it? and if you ever took the bar out would your nipple stay permently errect? ild be grateful if any one could clear this up for me! also i just wanted to add ive been with my bf for 3 years and at the start he never even noticed they were inverted so to the people scared that future bfs will b scared off dont be its natural! many thanks

Get lost Brian!

I have just started using the niplette today. I don't have inverted nipples but they are pretty flat. Here's hoping it works!

inverted nipples

I am a mother of 2 , I have inverted nipples. I breast fed both of my children with some difficulties. I wouldn't change a thing!! They are part of me. My husband doesn't seem mind. My daughter inherited my inverted nipples and noticed that they are different than her friends. I have tried to encourage her with talks that we are different in our own ways. She is fairly accepting. It is partly my job as her mom to make her feel good about her body as it is.
