Don't worry - it's nothing like that - he's over 18 (but not by much). But so far I've managed to convince myself that it's too big a gap in ages. And then there's an article I read about a week and a half ago about people who had relationships with someone considerably older or younger and how the relationships didn't last. OK, the article was about celebrities and they're not exactly in the real world like the rest of us, but just the same....

it depends what you're looking for really. You'll certainly manage to have a bit of fun with a guy that age but you could be right about struggling relathionship-wise.

I'm not really looking for anything - it's just that I went into this shop, took one look at him and...

It's not like me to have reactions like this. I still don't know why. But I'm not a girl who goes out looking for one night stands or a casual fling, so for me it wouldn't be a case of just having a bit of fun. My head is trying to convince my heart that the age difference is way too much and that it would be a mistake to even attempt to start a relationship (assuming that he was even interested in doing anything more than just talking to an older woman) - and so far my head is winning...

I'm the same. I don't do the fling thing.

Like I said before though, personally, a bit of age difference makes no difference to me. 8)
