stop my daughter wearing tights AND VINTAGE CLOTHES

ok i know sounds bizzare but my daughter katrina who just turned 15 for last 3 months she wears tights with everything and i mean everything trainers ,sandals ,jeans and flip flops .I just wished that sometimes she would wear something else if she got laddered pair she will just wear another laddered pair over the top. The other wierd thing evn though ii can afford for her to have new clothes she rather spend the day rummageing through old clothes and shoes at the boot sales i reckon she must have good 30 odd pairs of various heels she bought for pound or more at boot sales any ideas her dress taste has a lot to be desired as well like today 2 inch white heels , black opaque tights, cut down jean shorts and very old flowery bodysuit

What is wrong with that? Vintage clothes are better looking and better quality than many modern clothes anyway!

I Know what you are going through ..why dont you do what i do...? My daughter 16yr old wears them Thick Black tights [60 /120 denier opaque] with everything [she must have 100 pairs]..White trainers!!! Tight skirts...mules..Flip flops!!! pumps!! well i hate them ..so if we get a charity clothes collection bag ..i always throw a few pairs in ...or even accidently loose a few pairs in the wash...[cut them up for plant ties in our garden] oh by the way Thick Black tights attract a LOT of Dust..there for good for cleaning behind radiators grab each leg and pull lengthways behind radiator..another pair of tights bites the dust!!!

I used to wear thick black tights a lot at that age and also when i was at uni. They are great if your wearing a short skirt but worry about showing your knickers as you cant see anything through the tights. I expect your daughter still sits with her legs too far apart so at least shes not showing her knickers to everyone.

Ha this sounds just like me and my mum! I wear black opaques with everything and my mum pleads with me to wear something different, jeans, anything.
