Our armed forces are spread rather thin, Freddy. Domestically, I would bet we are more vulnerable to attack than pre 9-11. Unless of course you believe in the rights of citizens to have guns to defend themselves. Peace is rarely achieved during conflict. It typically occurs when cooler heads prevail, and negotitations get underway.

Who said anything about Utopia? Utopia (to me) is a myth. It isn't possible so long as different cultures hold different beliefs. So you want to first strike on Iran? How is that any different than islamic extremists first striking the US? It is the exact same thing, except Captain America in his RED WHITE AND BLUE can do no wrong. Islamic extremists attacked us, for that, they must pay. I concede that. But the problem with Iran, is that we are getting sucked in through Israel. Israel has been a drain on the US for a long ass time now, in a region of the world that has known more war than peace in its history. So a country smaller than Jersey, that has been taking money and resources from mine and YOUR pocket books for ages, is going to get us into another endless conflict, and continue to take our brightest and best young people and turn them into worm food at Arlington, I'm sorry.
