Hello. I am a Caribbean and I think that Lisa Ray had a good Man at her side and she blew it. Caribbean people expect one to be a First Lady and stand beside her man and be in place when you are needed instead of jetting off to Hollywood every minute. I love Lisa a lot I look up to her and very sad to see the marraige ended.

Give me a break. He was cheating on her like all leaders do on their wives and he did it with no integrity. The difference is, Lisa Raye is from Chicago and reacted to his behavior. She's a strong woman. Bottomline. Michael Misick let her down. He expected her to walk away quietly like an island woman should. But she isn't from the islands. She's from the southside of Chicago. Being disrespected in her home is no tolerated. How he dealt his marriage is an indication of his character which is a reflection of his leadership. Lisa Raye had nothing to do with his r**** charge nor his corruption. She was his wife. He let her down and then tried to toss her aside. Lisa Raye let him know she is NOT one of his concubine he can puppeteer.

I was involved with a caribbean man who lives a life of infidelity as a rule. He has children by at least nine different women. He expected me to "stand by my man" while he carried on his affairs. Then when I refused to participate in his harem-like lifestyle, he sicked his women on me and flaunted their "loyalty" to him in my face. He constantly berated me for being "americanized" to the point where I couldn't recognize my "true role as a black woman" in relation to her man. I say YAYYYYYY!!! LisaRaye...move on girl. He won't change. Most caribbean men are sociopathic narcissists.

Someone I know who worked with her for years said she is sweet and down to earth. Even the pastor at Misick's church said he should "repent or get out." That's pretty telling right there; when a man busts another man for domestic violence against a woman. It can't be the first time either. It never is.

Lisaraye, I feel your pain. Caribbean men are heartless and greedy. They want to bed down any woman who will open her legs, and caribbean women put up with that because they think they owe that to the men. Caribbean women are hostile to Black American women. They call us spoiled. Lisaraye is a beautiful strong woman. The women on that island were jealous of her. The man went outside of the island to marry an outsider. They dont like that. The man she married was a lady before and he's a lady now. She's better off without him.
