I'm not circumcised and I would never like to be circumcised. Sure American women think I'm gross or disgusting, but that's only becuase of the cultural normalities. Unlike Europe were foreskin is much more prevelant. I'm not worried about it really, but I do wish some people could learn to respect it. I don't enjoy being made fun of just becuase I didn't have something cut off at birth. People need to learn to except the penis how is naturally is (my opinion). But anyways they probably won't becuase they hate to admit they're wrong (not saying they are). yeah so Whoever posted this topic; I would say don't get circumcised just becuase it's pointless to cut part of your penis off to fit in.

I totally agree that circumcising children at birth is wrong, I would even go as far as saying that it's barbaric.

If men weren't supposed to have a foreskin Gaia wouldn't have given them one. And I definately think that all the people saying that men with a foreskin are cleaner are a bunch of tossers with very few brain cells. having a bit of skin cut off doesnt instantly make you cleaner, thats about as logical as saying cutting off your nose will stop you from getting colds. What if there was a tramp in the street who had been circumcised at birth, they would still be as unclean as any other tramp who had his genitals intact. (I'm not talking down about them, I feel quite sorry for them and the circumstances that they have been forced into, but anyway).

I think that it should be done of there is a medical reason for it, but as a last resort. And anyone who does it for religious reasons should be steralised, becasue they clearly dont deserve to have children if they are willing to make them go through that amount of pain.

Saying all that, I wouldn't not date a man just becasue he was circumcised, I can't see why it would affect our relationship. I simply think it should be their choice, not that of their parents.

The tonsils are part of the immune system - they help to fight infection.

The appendix is now not in use, but used to enable us to eat raw meat without getting ill or dying, in times when we couldn't cook things.

col you should understand that the foreskin too HAD its uses when men usually did not wear any clothes in pre historic times.it(foreskin) protected the glans(head/knob)from bushes/wild grass etc.the foreskin and the penis used to get some air earlier but now we wear two
layers(underwear,trousers) of clothing on top of it and things get stale down there(under the foreskin) due to sweat,nightfall,pre cum etc.

In the days when we ate many more broad leaf plants, or when mean wasnt as well cooked and treated we needed an appendix to make chemicals to protect us from infection and illness as well as tonsils. We have just evolved into a stage where the normal lifestyle does not require them, but they have uses.

My tonsild were removed when I was a child, children now get to keep theirs, as they play a part in infection prevention.

And also they keep you getting tonsilitus year after year after year. Wish I would have had mine out. And yes, they may have once served a purpose but they dont now. Just like the gills we used to sport served a purpose but disappeared after we developed legs.
