Would you ever vote for a homosexual Prime Minister or President?

Who cares whether they are gay or straight. Doesn't it matter more how famous they were before they started running for election, how good looking they are and how much spin they can generate?

If Tony Blair or George Bush was gay, they would have had the simpletons believing that being gay is the new straight!

But it does make a statement about their judgment and beliefs, so it is a valid discussion.

What statement does it make about "their" judgement? unless you are suggesting that they should have lied about it like in the old days. Also your use of "their" suggests you see gay people as a stereotype i.e. all essentially the same. Much as racists see black and asian people. What are these "beliefs" that are part of being gay?

No, the word "their" was used to describe the politician not the homosexual community. If you read the post, it was very clear that I was referring specifically to the individual not their community. If you don't agree with the politician's lifestyle (straight, gay or whatever) that is your right to vote against them. All I am saying is that it is a piece of the puzzle that is very valid to use in evaluating a leader.

I sure don't want my children being taught how to be a goo guzzler in the failed liberal experiment known as public education along with all the other castrated liberal agenda items. Why not use that time constructively with prayer?

We Americans are damn tired of being thought of as dumb by the rest of the world. So we went to the polls in November and removed all doubt.
