photo editing

Hey all,

i was wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to spot an edited photo easily?

basically i had one of those photo shoots you can pay for in a basic studio, to give the photos as a gift for someone. i have just done a few basic edits myself on photoshop, like enhancing my hair colour (getting rid of a few roots), the healing tool, and liquify just to smooth a few unwanted bumps here and there. now i dont think it looks obvious what has been done, i havent overdone it to look too flawless but just wondered if theres any obvious signs u can tell if photos have been edited? otherwise ill just forget it and give the original!

It couldn't look anymore unnatural than glossy or entertainment magazines, you can sometimes see where they have grafted the pores onto the lips cheeks, while the chin looks flawless without pores.

Depends on who's in the photo. If you see a picture of Angelina Jolie beautiful, happy, and personable, that is photoshopped!
