What about the spread of AIDS and HIV amongst straight people? The virus spreads at a far greater rate though straight people than it does through gay people.
Care to give us a link proving gay men in the WESTERN WORLD are not the highest risk for getting AIDS & HIV?
I did not say a gay person is not at a higher risk of contracting the virus than a straight person. I said it spreads at a greater rate through straight people. I was trying to highlight that most HIV and AIDS sufferes are not gay, but straight based simply on the number of straight people in comparison to gay people. (I have read before that 10% of people in the world are gay). It is an assumption based on numbers.
You just have to consider the problems in Africa, where I doubt Africa has any more gay people than the rest of the world. You hear of babies being born with AIDS! Now not even someone as ignorant as you Fred75 can say that is the product of homosexual activity!
You may want to take a read of this website from the National Health Service.

If you read that link I posted then you will see it says that gay men are most at risk. However this just highlights the fact that the virus is spread easier through Anal sex and a culture that existed when people did not know of the risks they were exposing themselves to when not using a condom. However that culture has changed.
Also, why do you only care about the West? Do you not care what happens in Africa, the Middle East and the Far East?
Also Fred75, why don't you be honest with us? Your argument here is not based on a crusade to rid the world of AIDS and HIV. Otherwise you would be championing the use of contraceptives, educating people, providing medicine to those who can't afford it and research into curing the disease. From what I can see, the point of your argument is actually about riding the world of homosexuals am I right?
your above link wrote:HIV most commonly affects gay men. However, this does not mean that the condition is only a concern for the gay community. In the UK, it is estimated that one in ten cases of HIV are acquired during heterosexual sex.

I'm not sure that there are verifiable statistics from a recognised authority, but the UN report on those living with HIV at the end of 2006 gave the combined figure for North America and Europe as 2,140,000,

That's all very nice.
But it doesn't break it down by sexual preference.
You get an F.

Logically, if there are ten times the number of sufferers in Africa, the risk is higher. While Kinsey claimed that 10% of the population was gay or bisexual, The 2000 U.S. Census Bureau found that homosexual couples constitute less than 1% of American households. The Family Research Report claims "around 2-3% of men, and 2% of women, are homosexual or bisexual. The population of 'The West' is around 1000m people which means that around 0.02% of the population has HIV. Clearly, not all of these will be homosexual, or indeed men, which probably takes it a good deal lower. The population of sub-saharan Africa is around 770m of whom over 3% have HIV. As they say in your fair country, 'do the math'.
I am of course making the assumption that you are better at mathematics than you are reasoned argument.

Accepted but not accurate according to those that actually take the data.
They put it between 5 and 7%.
Try getting your "gay" data from places other than gay sites with gay agendas.
Fred75 wrote:The Colonel wrote:

Gay "boys" do.
They experiment with their sexuality and are also called BI-sexual.
It's why the younger girls get it after learning safe sex in your schools.
