My wife and I went to a performance of Rod Stewart this past Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. His love for soccer comes through in his act, and he uses soccer balls as a prop, kicking them into the audience. Both bass durm heads have the Celtic Football Club logo on them. Rod appears to be a truly nice human being. He still sings as good as ever. We thoroughly enjoyed his performance.

This is "I'VE WAITED FOR 37 YEARS TO SEE ROD" from the concert @ the ampitheater in Tampa on August 28, 2008. What a great night! I will never, ever forget it. I only wish he could have seen my tee shirt---he would have realized how long some of us have been waiting to see him in person. He was awesome. So awesome that I am looking for a pix of the logo on the drums to get a tattoo of it below my neck, between my shoulder blades at my fav tat place. Love Rod and thank you very much for making my life-long wish come true Thursday night! You are truly In My Heart, You're in My Soul!! Love ya man!!!! --stacy the redhead

I first saw Rod on April 25, 1979 and have been hooked ever since. I also recently saw Rod in Tampa and he is truely amazing. How many 63 year old's could put on a show like that? A sincere thank you to Rod for bring my 5 year old son on stage. Yes he truely is a Celtic fan and insisted on wearing his jersey to the show. Funny, he ask me where Ron Wood was? Thanks for the autograph football for my son as well Rod it is something he will cherish for many years. You mean to me what Otis Redding or Sam Cooke would have meant to you. I hope our paths will cross someday so that I could have my picture made with you. I would be willing to donate a nice sum of money to The City of Hope Foundation Charity. Keep up the great work - I hope to see you play for at least the next 20 years. Stephen
