my husband wants a boy

Postby twirlgirl on Thu Sep 04, 2008 10:07 pm

we want to have a baby and my husband wants a boy. i think he wants to have all boys. his oldest brother has twin boys and his older brother has a boy and his younger sister even has a boy. i really would like to have a girl. my younger sisters want me to have a girl too. i'd be happy with a boy too i guess. i'm afraid my husband may be disappointed if we have a girl :( has anyone else experienced this?

If his name is Henry, be careful.

Many parents do have an initial preference; however, at the end of the day it pays to remember that there are plenty of people who would simply like to have a child. Conceiving and then carrying the baby full term cannot be taken for granted - nor for that matter can a healthy baby.

Anyway, good luck and I am sure that the gender won't matter in the end.

Find out the reason why he wants a boy that much? I mean...isn't it quite up to him whether the baby comes out as a boy or a gal? He shouldn't be unhappy if the baby comes out as a girl....because only he has the Y-sex chromosome...

Let him know that the most important is that the baby no matter a boy or a gal comes out healthy....It won't do any good if the baby is a boy but born unhealthy..tell him that...

Or else, have a test tube baby...in that way...I think you can determine your baby to be a boy or a gal but I think it's expensive...

Wish you all the best...
Just a day of not saying hello to you can actually rip my heart bit by bit

Be grateful that you are able to conceive a healthy child. What is with you people?

Phew. Thought the Subject was something quite different.

You could check out some websites and books that talk about ovulation and conceiving. It's easier to plan for a boy than a girl if you're really serious about planning. Worth a try.
