Sperm Donation

Postby sugarplum » Tue Sep 09, 2008 9:08 pm

Hi There,
I am looking for a sperm donor, but not having much luck finding anyone who genuinely wants to help. I am in a stable relationship with my girlfriend and we desperatley want to have a baby together. Any advice/help will be greatly appreciated. We live in the London area.

err do it properly through a clinic? That way you know that the person's health has at least been vetted.

clinics charge a stupid amount of money.
having a baby if you are in a male/female couple doesnt cost anything so it should be the same for gay couples.
most men that donate have been health/std checked and will provide proof

no not random people... you don't just find a guy and that's it he becomes your donor. it take a lot of research and time to find the right person and there are clinical and legal documents to prove that the donor is healthy and has no std's. you obviously don't know much about it!!

oh and as for irrEsponsible have you never made a spelling mistake in your life you must be cleaver!

Definately go through a clinic, they will screen samples for any nasties that you don't really want.

Good luck

this person is asking for advice or help, not necessarily the donation in the post !!

they may be interested in advice on where there are clinics to help ......

My partner and I were in the same situation and we have solved this by using her brother, so she is also directly related to our children, and I am due to deliver twin girls in april/may

Hello everyone. This is my first post here. I noticed this topic and thought i might be able to provide some information.

I used a donation service on a forum two years ago and found a free donor. He worked out really great for me and i now have a beautifull baby girl. My gf and I are so happy to have our child. It really was a blessing.

We are thinking of using the same donor again for our second child. There were no costs involved.

I am sure anyone can do the same thing we did. If you would like more information please feel free to email me and i can provide more details.

Baby dust to everyone wanting children.

It is disappointing that there is so much bigotry here against this girl.

What does it matter where the sperm comes from - it is the end result that matters. I would certainly help a person like this having childen of my own and knowing what a joy they are.

It sometimes is a good dea to look beyond the prejudices of society.
