My own take on motorbikes....

Postby carrotgirl on Sat Sep 20, 2008 11:11 pm

After several months of getting to zoom around on one with Kingy, here is my classification of bikes:

SHIKES - Shiny bikes. Like Harley's and Triumph Bonnevilles etc. The ones that they only take out on nice days because otherwise they would have to spend hours polishing them afterwards.

PLIKES - Plastic bikes. The race replica ones. I think they look naff. And I wouldn't like to sit on the sharpy-ended arse in the air seat thingy at the back either.

VIKES - ones made for touring like Honda Goldiwings. The "Volvos" of bikes.

I am happy with my classification system and all bikes, in my opinion, fall into one of the three categories. However, Kingy has told me not to speak too loudly in these terms at bikers' meetings because he is frightened of getting hit. :?

I used to have a boyfriend with a bike and he would only go out on it first thing in the morning before the flies got up because he didn't want to have to clean them off the hot bits of the engine. I used to sit on the back and wait to die.
