Girls earrings

Colonel,

I fear you are out of touch. Just because you haven't encountered something doesn't mean that it doesn't exist elsewhere.
My thirteen year old daughter has three piercings in each ear. Believe me that is very modest by comparison with some of her school firends. One of her best friends is often round at our house and she currently has eight in each ear and a stud in her nostril. She is incidentally an extremely polite and well behaved young lady from a well to do family.

No, I am very much "in touch". I make a point of being so.

If you have allowed someone of thirteen to do that, then I do not think much of your parenting (or lack thereof) qualities.

I restate my original premise: no school would permit entry.

Oh, really? You think?

Earlier this year I received a phone call from my sons' secondary school (while at work) asking me to come and take my 16 year old son home because he was wearing the wrong colour socks. I told them to piss off - albeit not in those words.

My son does that as well

hello people, you have not heard from me for a day or i've been unwell.
The doctors said something about a lobotomy, but there is nothing wrong with my bottom, so no idea on that one.

what do people think to this, real or fake?

I think the photo is real. At first glance the little girl looks like she is wearing two earrings, but after studying the picture I think she is wearing one earring and you are seeing the background through her hair giving the illusion of a second earring.
