I have been shaved a couple of times by the girls in the hospital for surgical prep. It sucks a few days later when it starts to grow back and itches like hell. Several years ago I got tired of having pubic hair and started pulling out a few hairs a day for about 2-3 months, and one day it was all gone. I had to pull about 12 more that regrew each month for a few months, and now it is permanently gone. This year I pulled out my ballsack hairs, but they are much more persistent about growing back, so I have a girl at a day spa wax my ballsack about once every 5-6 weeks. Each time she waxes my balls, there are far fewer hairs. The last time she did it she mostly just used tweezers to pull the few remaining hairs. My pubic hair was more like steel wool. It is a major luxury to be permanently smooth. Girls say it is much nicer to suck and lick.

I have come across a few shaved. Personally, I think it looks odd where the body hair on men comes to an abrupt halt, so I think a close trim works better above but below shaved can look nice.

I have been shaving mine for about three years now. I love the smooth feel and so does my wife. I get a lot more oral now than I used to. I also prefer my wife totally shaved smooth.
