How did other people react on your earrings and did you get any negative comments about that?

Earlier this year, I finally told my wife I wanted to get an earring, She chucked at first & thought I would never really do it. Every few months it entered my mind, I dropped a few hints & got no response. I didn't push it & figured it wouldn't happen.
Then my best friend showed up one night with a shiny diamond stud flashing in his left ear. Getting that earring took on a whole new level. The hints became more frequent & a few weeks later, out of the blue, my wife said, "you want the earring, then let's get it."
The next day I finally got the earring. I loved having it. Everytime I walked by a mirror, the reflection of me with that earring became more natural. Within a few weeks, to my surprise, my wife even told me she really liked it on me.
I think an earring in my right ear is not to far. But thanks to all of you for making realize a guy with earring was not a strange, but actually pretty normal.
