For once I have to agree. What the hell is wrong with some people on here. Its like everyone else it to blame for their marks. I hate my marks, there I said it, I despair at them same as everyone else. I try and help myself and have some idiot accusing me of being a fraud selling tca, when I have never touted any website as a supplier,. I could not give a flying f*ck where people buy it, I only encourage people to try it because of the improvements its had on me..yet I get condemned by certain people because "it does not work on them"..go kick a dog or something, or better still, if you want to apportion blame, go kick your parents, they gave you your crap skin..but don't kick me, your marks have nothing to do with me. Nor do your frustrations about them.

It really is quite strange, how there seems to be so much hatred and negativity towards someone who actually bothers with a thorough regime, and who puts themselves out daily by relaying their experience _ for others to benefit from, and by answering questions gladly on the subject of peels/vitamins and stretchmarks in general, offering inspiration and even kind words to anyone who posts on here who is at the end of their tether. Saying TCA doesn't work for you is one thing, but this nonsense is something else. Any less secure person would have crawled under a rock by now, and I'm very glad she still makes the effort to post on here.

are we doing this again?

Again ladies, all here for the same reason.

I am trying injecting copper peptides into some stretch marks and retin-a into some others. It's not a safe experiment, but again, I take responsibility for my own self. It's turning out to be unpleasant (painful, not pretty, etc)

and thus far it is not working, but I will give it a few more goes.

btw, J, anyone else whose doing TCA, someone else asked this question and I am curious. Is the TCA doing anything to tighten the skin?

How do I maintain the Dermaroller ? How long can I use the Dermaroller ?

"The needles will become blunt after several months of use. We recommend to use a new roller after 3-4 months. To keep the roller germ free we recommend to keep the head in isopropyl alcohol all the time. The roller comes with a special box which can be used for that. Just fill in enough alcohol to cover the head. Shortly before use just rinse the head with water. The roller can and should be washed in a regular dishwasher every 7 days. The high water temperature and the detergents are ideal to clean the roller head. Maintaining a clean head is especially important if you use the roller for creamy substances like MGF, Spirolotion or simular"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubbing_alcohol

some websites do not recommend to keep it in alcohol all the time but they recommend to dip it for 10min prior needling. you have to also sterilize your skin. you can do it with alcohol , iodine , hydrogen peroxide etc. I would recommend Betadine /iodine/ leave it on for several minutes and then wash it off with clean cotton pad dipped in alcohol /vodka for example/ and then rinse with water.

nobody can tell you if you need an anesthetic or not. you have to try if you can handle it without.

I don't use anesthetic, it's uncomfortable but not unbearable. I think it also depends on where you're rolling. My sms are on my abdomen, hips and lower back. The feeling is something you get used to.

The first time I used my roller I didn't see any blood at first. Several hours later when I looked at my abdomen I noticed tiny pin prick scabs, but that was all. 1mm doesn't penetrate the skin too far.

Good-luck. Really you just have to jump in and give it a try. It's not as horrible as you may think.

"Stem cells are also being used to reduce and fill in wrinkles, repair damaged tissues, and help the skin regenerate itself and become more healthy and radiant. When stem cells are placed next to mature adult tissue, they can naturally repair the tissue and help it regenerate itself into new, youthful tissue. Dr. Richard Ellenbogen, who is among America’s leading face lift surgeons, has been using a patient’s own fat to restore volume and youthfulness to the face for over 25 years. Dr. Ellenbogen recently made the discovery that not only does fat help restore volume to aging and weak facial structures, but the fat also rejuvenates the skin because it contains stem cells."

Wouldn't it be great if we could extract our own stem cells and inject them into our sm's? I bet it would work.

Now that would be a kick butt home remedy! :D

I have no experience with home dermabrasion kits. My experience with professional dermabrasion after about a dozen treatments is it didn't do a darn thing.

I honestly don't think J is a fraud or is lying. I believe she just wants something to work so bad she talks herself into believing she has found something that works. Just like she did with the last thing she said that supposedly worked. I think she is only conveying what she really believes right now. Once she stops the peels and waits four or five months she will see the reality which will be that it did't work as good as she thought. Until then she is going to believe it and is only telling us what she truly believes at this point. I don't think that makes her a liar or a fraud.

Go easy on her. She's just trying to find something to help her deal with her marks like the rest of us.

look, mr..,
I have been critical of J as well. But I dont think she is doing this on purpose. Skinbio doesn't even sell TCA. And the last thing shes said that has worked was a foot file, hardly promoting anything there. like I said, I am reluctant to believe her too, not because I think she is doing anything on purpose but because I too have thought I have seen improvement when it was nothing more than inflamation. But hey, she is apparently willing to post pictures and no one else will. and she is trying something.
