An impending police state in the US is a real threat. The government think tanks are discussing it now - they want to destroy the Posse Comitatus Act, which generally prohibits federal military personnel and units of the United States National Guard under federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or Congress.

A 2004 panel report put out by the Center for American Progress, which included Paul Mchale (Asst. Sec of Defense) and Michael O'Hanlon from the Brookings Institute, featured a frank discussion of our military reserves and how the Army, specifically the National Guard, would be used in the 21st century.

Security strategists such as Thomas Barnett have even spoken openly about destroying Posse Comitatus in regards to changing fundamentals of the U.S. military and how it should and should not operate in the coming years. Apparently, Posse Comitatus is but a shallow barrier in the eyes of our military/industrial complex, something that can and will be pushed aside so they can fight their little wars against groups that are largely funded, fueled, or flamed by our own government. The fact that Congress is finally raising eyebrows over legal and constitutional violations by the defense sector is refreshing, but the question is whether it's too little, too late.

So here's what we know:

1. The Army Service Component Command to US Northern Command* began training for homeland scenarios at Fort Stewart, Georgia, with a final mission rehearsal exercise in mid-September 2008 (they arrived home in April 2008 after 15 months in Iraq).

2. The derivatives market collapses, crushing the international financial system.

3. On September 24, 2008, Bush announces the $700 billion financial bailout plan. The majority of the House and US citizens do not support the bill and it is defeated; however, the revised bill is passed on October 3, 2008, after "fierce lobbying" by the Bush administration.

4. For the first time ever, the US military deploys an active duty regular Army combat unit ( 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team) for full-time use inside the United States to deal with national emergencies, including terrorism, natural disasters and civil unrest. This was announced on September 30, 2008, and effective October 1, 2008.

5. The financial markets are still collapsing even after passing the $700 billion bailout bill.

6. On November 4, 2008, the US Presidential Election will take place.

We naturally must question the timing of the planned militarization on US soil for two primary reasons:

1. Distinct possibility of civil unrest resulting from the financial meltdown, given the broad impacts of financial collapse on lifelong savings, pension funds, homeownership, etc.

2. Civil unrest resulting from an event occurring around the US Presidential election, scheduled for November 4, 2008, or resulting from the outcome of the election.

Should there be civil unrest, the constitution of the United States will be overridden and Martial Law will be declared by the government and FEMA, and the "terrorists" will be transported and housed in detention facilities.

We know that vacant yet staffed detention camps are in existence throughout the US. The camps all have railroad facilities as well as roads leading to and from the facilities. Many also have an airport nearby.

With such pieces in place, a government transformation to dictatorship could happen at any time and happen very swiftly.

The militarization of civilian police and civil defense activities (Martial Law) is an extremely serious warning signal of dictatorship coming to America.

Here's what we can expect:

1. The whole world will collapse economically (it’s the only way that the power elite can get a global currency and union accepted).
2. The world will be "depopulated" by natural disasters, plagues, and food and water shortages.
3. A one-world currency and a one-world government will be established.
4. A cashless society will be setup.
5. In order to or buy or sell in this cashless society, an individual will have to be microchipped; those who refuse will be "subdued."

If you're referring to FOX News, this means that you have never actually watched the network and are just taking someone else's word for the fact that FOX News is a "right-wing news channel and an arm of the Republican Party" which in fact is an outright lie. Anyone who actually watches FOX News realizes that they are actually "Fair and Balanced" as they claim. They have both Liberal and Conservative commentators and you get both sides of an issue. Even Hillary Clinton said that she got the fairest treatment from FOX News.
