hello all,ive not been here for ages! well,im 11 weeks pregnant and im really worried. the father is one of my best friends,but we ended our relationship before i knew i was pregnant. were not going to get married or anything,but i share a flat with him and hes being really supportive,but im so scared about being pregnant ond only 19! i guess im in the same boat as "aurora"-congratulations by the way!,in that i really dont know whats going on or anything! im just starting to show and it feels amazing to have a little baby inside me,even though he/she is a little gas monster! any tips or advice,especially about the birth,ive never seen one before,let alone been there...well,apart from when i was born,but i dont remember it! thanks ladies! also,can i ask,and feel free to call me a freak,but is it normal to be hornier than ever while pregnant? seriously,im constantly gagging for it,and i cant get it! aaarugh!

i felt the same while pregnant, so i guess its quite normal!! we are all different tho! good luck for the future!!

hi kate, cingtrats by the way. perfectly normal to feel so horny, i felt exactly the same, you may also find your dreams become very x rated, another common pregnacy side effect!

birth isn't so bad, i've done it twice now, first time with pain relief, second time without, and i can honestly say it wasn't much different! but it's each to their own,best thing to do is to try not to panic cos fear makes the pain worase! proven fact!

Juicy Lucy, I know you are trying to put her mind at ease, but how can you say giving birth isn't bad? Everyone has different experiances. Some have horrific births.

Iv'e had 3 babies now and the second and third was easy, but I wouldn't tell anyone that giving birth is easy, cos for some it isn't. My 2nd labour lasted 42 mins and I had no pain relief either, my 3rd was 2 and a half hours and only had gas and air, pushing for only 9 mins. But my 1st was long and painfull. Pushing was horrible, it seemed to go on forever. I got a graze and it hurt everytime I peed for about a week!
