Interesting and can't fault the pedigree. He makes almost as strong a case for his strategy as you'd expect of someone with his credentials. I strongly disagree with the idea that the USA should become the world's nation builder though. We were forced into it this time and I'd prefer it not become a habit.

I can see some parallels between Iraq and Vietnam, though I think we're going to win this one.

We're going to win ? Hee hee. You must belive in Santa Claus too then . Thats not what all these reporters , retired soldiers , and authors say on tv . Or the soldiers I see every day from pfc's to field officers say either . Only little georgey's supporters and the ignorant think the war will have a happy outcome .The only good this failed war did was prevent our little-boy-in -chief from attacking iran and syria as well as criple him as a president stopping him from ending old age pensions and medicare .
