One Year To Go

Postby KahluaBabe » Mon Aug 09, 2004 11:58 pm

I have one year to go before my fiancee and I get married. This is my first time getting married and I don't know where to start the planning. I don't even know how we are going to be able to come up with the money to get married. I don't even know if my parents are even going to help because they don't agree with whom I am marrying. What should I do?

Babe, cograts and Best of luck!

Your parents might come round, the only thing you can do is ask them nicely ( :D most dads are a sucker for that) If they still won't help, there are plenty of things you can do to get the money together.
Alot can be saved up in a year. OK, it might not buy you the dream wedding, but if you really want to get married on that particular date go for it. Failing that, you could take a loan out.....you'll get the dream wedding and spend years saving to pay for it.
You could always put the wedding back a bit, after all, if you're really destined to be together forever, what does it matter when you get the piece of paper saying so?

:D
Thats great news, so enjoy it.
I will be married in a couple of years but I have the same problem financially. Though I have 2 dresses, bought the first one off my friend then changed my mind so I bought one more simple. I still have 3 bridesmaids dresses to buy!!!!!!!!
If you want a dress you can buy my for £30 plus p+p, Alfred Angelo dress with a full skirt about a size 14.
Anyway good luck for your big day
