School or Travel?

Postby Shelley38 on Wed Jan 11, 2006 4:32 am

Hi Everyone,

I am having trouble deciding on my next move and thought I would seek advice from travellers, and hopefully someone who is, or has been, in my position.

I have finished up my undergrad at university, and cannot decide if I want to apply to Master's or travel for a year and apply next year. I am afraid if I take a year off I will find it really hard to go back... however, I feel the time to do this is now (even though I have no money).

Do you think I should apply for more school and get it over with or travel now?

Thanks so much everyone, any advice would be helpful!

Hi,

Perhaps this is a halfway house as I know from experience how hard ti is to go back. I did holiday with Gecko Travel last year on a 21 day trip through Laos Cambodia and Thailand. They get really off the beaten track in small groups so it's a little like a short backpacking trip. Once bitten by the travel bug another year of hard graft might be too much to handle go to www.geckotravel.com. Good luck...have fun whatever :D
