We were sitting at the bar in a restaurant we frequent, when a woman came in with her husband.
She had on a sheer miniskirt with no slip, and her choice of undergarment styles was quite obvious .. Anyway, she went to the ladies' room and while she was gone, the bartender asked her husband, out loud, in front of everyone, "does she always wear a Thong?"
The husband said,"I told her she needed a slip." Well, when she came back into the bar, my husband nearly fell off his barstool trying to get a glimpse of this woman's backside. I should add here, I am a "full-figured" woman and rather self-conscious of my appearance, as well my husband knows.
I feel that my husband was rude and disrespectful to me by so obviously checking out this woman. Granted, he would not have looked if the bartender had not made that inappropriate comment ..
My husband does not feel he did anything wrong and that I have no reason to be upset with him.
Does he owe me an apology, or should I just chalk it up to a "man thing"?
