I thought that this was something to do with changing the account so i've reverted back to normal hotmail, and now whenever i log, a page comes up saying "The page cannot be displayed. The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings." All i have to do is refresh this and i can get into my account.
Also, on the taskbar, the icon for my hotmail says "can not find server."
Should i try and contact hotmail and see if they can sort it, or does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do?
I believe this new great Beta version is meant to collect feedback from us users on how we like it.. so your feedback to Microsoft would be greately appreciated and will help improve the service for all of us. This should alert them on the issues with their new hotmail.
I haven't switched yet, I just want it the "old school" hotmail.
For the button on your taskbar, it's just the first words of your browser title window. I have observed over the years that once a page does not load, the "Could not find server" message appears in the browser and its title and even if you reload the page successfully the title does not disappear. Hence, the button on your taskbar will still show Cannot find page while in fact the page is loaded. Check the window title of your browser. This is just a temp glitch that disappears once you jump to another web site, nothing to worry about if the page is loaded.
And now, the word to our Firefoxers out there who certainly cannot wait to tell the world how crap is IE compared to their browser.
