One of my bridemaids, the groom's sister, just got a new tattoo on the back of her neck, after we asked her to be in our wedding. Our ceremony will be taking place in a church, and I do not feel displaying a tattoo she has very short hair in church is appropriate. This bridesmaid and I aren't exactly what you would call close. I really feel like her having the tattoo showing at our ceremony, after all it is our day, would be disrespectful. What should I do, tell her I feel like telling her that I am getting another maid?

She is either inconsiderate or just doesn't care, the trouble is you can not expect someone to put thier life on hold just for your wedding, I would ask here to use a concealling cream during the service at the reception who cares anyway

Don't let it ruin your day, it is just a tattoo. Who cares noone will be looking at it and thinking how disrespectful.

I think you are making a big deal out of nothing.

I may be over but you know how it is this is my big day and I just don't want anything to go wrong. I think I am after perfection.

Well it is her body and she can do what she likes to it. Could she wear a choker or big necklace or even a scarf sort of thing to cover it up.

You are not going to get perfection, its natural to worry but don't stress so much over little things and lose sight of the big picture. You will end up worrying and not enjoying yourself.

if you and she arent close why is she a brides maid? anyway get a shoulder wrap for all your brides maids - you cant dicriminate against her because she hasnt put her life on hold for your wedding - it ay be your day but the people who are there make it your day. Forget about it.

When i got married i didnt have any bridesmaids as i didnt want my friends not to be able to be with their own partners on the day - i know what it is like when my hsband is always best man i am on my own for the ceromony and diner i hate it. So stop worrying and have a great day

She doesn't respect you or herself. Cut her out of the wedding.
