i have dreadlocks, my original hair color is...no idea. born with red hair, it turned strawberry...i started dyeing. it's really dark brown/black right now and i'm sick of taking time every morning to mascara my lashes and eyebrows to match and going to bed looking like i have no eyebrows! because of the red in my natural color, my hair type is course and can take a lot of beating. due to the fack that i have dreadlocks, soft and shiny hair isn't a factor.
here's the question: should i first strip my hair and then dye it light brown or would this just look like orange brown? should i bleach first? or strip and then bleach? i doubt a professional salon is an option, i would spent thirty at the most, which is what i would spend on at-home kits. any suggestions?
