hi i'm pregnant

Postby vickilouise » Thu Dec 27, 2007 4:50 pm

hiya,
i'm fairly new to this forum and ive just found out i am pregnant, for the first time so i'm quite nervous about what to expect and what to be doing.
i went to see my gp today to confirm it and he has reffered me to a midwife and also my local maternity unit. ive also got folic acid from him.
is there anything else i need to be doing in particular?
i'd rather be hated for being myself than be loved for being someone i'm not!

Way-hey! Congratulations! You should call into the "Hellooo - where is everyone?" post, there are a few ladies in there who've had babies, they'll be able to give you some advice. You're already taking folic acid so that's a good start, and as far as I know you're not supposed to eat anything with raw egg in it, but that's about all I can contribute!
