question......

Postby keepthegoodtimesrollin on Fri Jan 27, 2006 1:51 pm

So the last 3 days i have had the worst imaginable headache ever... not pounding or a migraine... just a dull obnoxious non stop headache. The problem is NOTHING i could take made it go away. I even took some perscription strength stuff from b4 and nothing happened. I have been very tired lately... and ive also felt nausuoeus, Obvious answer u will give me is.. go take the test. I know this. But i want to know if any of u pregnant or once pregnant women can tell me.... are severe abnormal headaches a symptom any of you had? they're just real abnormal for me. And ive been feeling strange. I dunno.. anyone? :?:

not to my knowlege hun...what makes you think you're preggers.. it's more likely a virus...but if in doubt a test only costs a couple of quid.

I had a very bad headahce with both my pregnancies in particular during the first trimester. I have also trained as a midwife and can tell you that headaches are common in pregnancy however I would not use this as a diagnostic tool. Early pregnancy symptoms include, nausea, vomiting, metalic taste in the mouth, bloatedness feeling, extreme tiredness and a tendancy to go completely off foods that you normally like. The most common are frequency in passing urine and of course a missing period. If you have these other symptoms particularly the missing period then take a test. If you find you are pregnant that could explain your headache.
Those who dont fear the darkness have no idea what is lurking in the shadows.
