Cover the bottles with an inch of leaves to filter the sun... Recover the bottles when there is no-more winter-ice on the pond, when it's easy to pry them from the bottom-ice with two-fingers... ever so slowly tip the bottle to upright, to maintain the top liquid at the top of the bottle, and silently slowly wash it off..
