Hi everyone

My sister and her friend just got home from school. I told her she has 2 start writing for FF right away. She will do her article for the school paper later.
Hi FF readers; I'm not sure where to start. As you know, my friend Hanna and I decided to wear skirts to school today. No one at our school hardly every wears them. Maybe once in a while but it's usually a denim mini skirt with threads hanging from the bottom and look pretty tacky. Hanna wore a skirt she borrowed from one of her friends that goes to a Catholic school down the street from ours. It's plad and falls about four inches above the knee. She looked just like she belonged to that school. No
hose and black flat shoes. I borrowed my sister's kilty type skirt. It's about 15 inches long but looks shorter on me because I'm taller than her. It has a flap on the front that I pinned with a large gold safety pin. I borrowed a pair of her black Silk Refletions
pantyhose and found some old black heels that I managed to fit into. I take the bus to school. Immediately I got lots of looks, no make that stares from teh boys. But no comments or anything. I also noticed I had to be very conscious of my skirt. With pants, anything goes but with the skirt I had to be aware of how I sat, went up stairs, walked in the wind, etc. I soon found out high schools are not an easy place to wear a skirt and
hose. First period was English. Just getting into my desk was hard. I had to keep my legs pressed together to slide under the desk part and into my seat. Then later, some boy tried to up me with his camera phone. As I was concentrating on the teacher, I realized my legs had drifted apart so I decided to keep them crosssed the rest of the day when seated. Next class my boy friend is in. I thought he was going to come in his pants when he saw me and wanted to make out in the hall between classes. The mean girl I wrote about before in another thread is also in that class and made a few mean comments like I looked like a hooker and what was I trying to prove. But most of the girls said I looked nice and that maybe they would give it a try another time. You know, when we talked to our mom about this, she said she dressed nice for school almost every day back in the dark ages. Third period was gym. But trying to get put back together in a hurry after was a challenge trying to get my
pantyhose on streight in front of a bunch of other girls who were all giggling watching me pull them into place. I was very lucky not to get a run in them. At lunch was the first time I met up with Hanna. She reported a bit of teasing with a couple of kids asking if she was in the wrong school but overall she had a positive experience. Lunch was outside and we had to carry our trays over to the picknik tables leaving our skirts to blow around a bit. If it were windy, I could see that could have been a major problem but they managed to stay down. Then when trying to sit at the table, I had to be sure to hold my skirt in underneith me so I wouldn't be sitting on my
panties. When I went to get up I felt a rip. I had run my
pantyhose on the wood. When I got to the girl's room I tried to fix them with nail polish but I only made it worse. One of the "goth" girls was in there too and said I should just rip them all over and how cool that would look. I took them off instead and went bare legged the rest of the day. Forth period was up two flights of stairs. A challenge carrying books leaving only one hand free to hold in the skirt to keep prying boy's eyes from seeing what they shouldn't. Overall it was a fun experience but High Schools are definitey not made for wearing short skirts and
hose. But I'm so sick of everyone looking like slobs (boys included) at school all the time. It would be fun to all look nice for a change but we only get to do that a couple of times a year at dances. I hope you found this entertaining and informative. I wrote this pretty quickly so I hope there aren't too many mistakes. The article for my paper if I do it will have to be a little bit different and concentrate on fashion differences among the students rather than the problems I encountered but I guess I can mention them a little bit.
