Hi Amy and all; I couldn't figure out why Brittney was so upset bcause it didn't sound like that big a deal 2 me. I've had far worse happen. Now I find out that some guy in the math class camera phoned her when she was up at the board and posted the pic. in the boys locker room  She was more upset bcause she found out about it and bcause the guy she likes saw the picture too and was teased by the other guys bcause they know she likes him. Of course it was him that told her about the pic. and she just wanted to die on the spot. I'm so glad I'm not in high school anymore :!:

She's a pin-up in the boys locker room.
That sounds like a compliment to me! :P

The boy she likes told her about it.
That sounds as if he likes her too.

Hi everyone  This is probably now off topic bcause its no longer a school skirt but that's what started it. My sis's friend Brittney got asked out by the boy she likes :D : The only stipulation is that he asked her if she would wear her dress on the date :!: What is it with guys wanting us to wear certain outfits :?: After her last experience she isn't sure if she wants 2 wear it again. We told her we would take her shopping for a slip that fits better and won't fall down. That seemed 2 b her only problem. I'm not sure what they are doing but i hope it's appropriate 2 wear a dress like that. We r going shopping this morning since the date is tonite :!: My sis is double dating with her so maybe i can get her 2 file a report.

buffyfan,

Surely, it is obvious. If you wear a skirt, we get to see your legs! :P

By the way, one school in England is going to ban girls wearing skirts because some have been wearing skirts that are considered to be too short!

(kangaroo2, comments, please!)

In the interest of helping Brittney avoid another embarassing experience, I would like to suggest that she have a "practice" session at home before her date. That way she can see how her dress looks with her new slip. Sometimes a mirror is also a good idea too so she can see what is on show whilst seated or going up stairs etc and learn to take corrective action such as holding the back of the dress in or keeping her legs crossed. If she is wearing pantyhose again, a back up pair is also a must. Here's hoping Brittney has a fun date in her new dress!

As long as Buffyfan isn't the teacher. Given her track record, that could lead to disaster!

This must b beat up on Buffyfan week :!: 1st my little sis doesn't like the way i post. Then a guest makes fun of me bcause i tried 2 use correct spelling etc. on another post. Now i'm told i shouldn't help Brittney bcause i have a bad track record...I'm assuming that means my other posts about skirt problems. Geez, it wasn't bcause i wasn't careful...just unlucky :!: But that doesn't mean i can't give her some advice. Anyways, we are home from shopping and we found a black lacy slip that is the rite length and tight enuf around her waste it won't slip down. We also got her a new black bra and panties to make them better blend in with the dress  I liked the idea about practice with the dress around the house 1st but my sis said no  . Brittney is so nervous about her date she is about going 2 b sick. So we don't want to make it any worse. She will just change into her dress and go. That will give her less time to worry about it. Here's 2 a fun night 4 her

Good for her! I'm glad she didn't let the camera phone jerk keep her from dressing nice. Glad her guy asked her to wear the dress, too. Come on guys, if you want to see it you have to ask for it! We can't read minds you know.

Meg,

I thought all girls could read mens' minds!

buffyfan,
Don't worry about the criticism.
I think you sound cute.
You remind me of the heroine of a cartoon strip in one of our national newspapers. Whatever she did it always ended up with her losing her clothes by some accident. E.g. she would get locked out of her hotel room wearing only a towel!

Yes, S.L., it does seem like i've had more than my fair share of problems when it comes to clothes :( But i've yet to be locked out of a hotel room naked or have my skirt blow completely off :D I'm still not sure i believe that could really happen llike the girl in the "Tennis Dress" thread, but then a friend of mine told me she saw 1 time a rather big girl downtown who had her wrap skirt come completely off and blow down the street. She just stood there and screemed. But i guess it wasn't 2 pretty a sight for the guys :!: I don't know if anyone cares or not but i'm still waiting for the girls 2 report in from last night. I hope my sis' friend got along ok with her dress and made a good impression on the boy she likes  She seems like a really sweet girl.

buffyfan,

Accidents do happen.
I was at an exhibition once when one of the girls decided to liven up proceedings by doing a hand-stand. While she was upside-down her t-shirt fell completely over her face. It was at this point that everyone could clearly see that she was NOT wearing a bra!

I was at a dinner once when a famous actress reached up from the floor to shake hands with someone on the top table and her strapless dress fell down round her waist!

I expect the boy is hoping to make a good impression on your sis' friend - with his fingerprints!

I finally heard back from my sis about her friend Britt's date in her new dress. Nothing 2 report really. She looked really pretty, her date just kept looking at her legs like he'd never seen hose b 4. :D She had no problems with her slip or her dress or any other fashion disasters making i guess for a boring report. Since we are about the same size, i like her dress so much i asked if i could borrow it next time i got out  . I'm actually dating 2 guys at once (not the same night of course!) and will have 2 decide on which i want to wear it 4. Guy #1, my actual bf has told me he gets excited watching me struggle with my skits. Guy #2 on the other hand seemed a bit embarassed watching my skirt go out of control in his presence  . Any opinions on which 1 gets 2 see the dress :?: But since Brittney had no problems with it, I'm sure I won't either. As for school skits, the year is almost over. The girls are planning on having a regular day of the week next year for "skirt day" and hope 2 get more girls involved.

Looks like a happy ending. Hope in the fall the girls keep up the good work. Maybe this will help to speed the end of the bare legged look.

I don't see much too choose from about who to wear the dress for. When in doubt, wear for both.

I was just pulling your leg a bit about the numbers thing and didn't mean to be offensive or make you feel "beaten up on". Sorry if it came over that way
