And he had a nice smile too!

I wasn't really trying to make a point - I just thought that if I put it down in writing I might get my mind off him.

What's wrong with a few years age difference?

Yes, you can say that (although I note the wink), but it does depend on how many years we're talking about, and it turns out he's thirteen years younger than me, which is a bit more than I would feel comfortable with. Feels funny - it's almost like when I got a crush on my Art teacher in High School, except that time I was the one that was too young.

I reckon 42 is the perfect age for a man... that's what age all women should be going for. Next year the ideal age is 43 by the way...

So even women in their eighties should be looking for 42 year old men?

Before Who? posts a response to my last message, I had better point out that I am not anywhere near my eighties!

Well, I'd have to draw the line... I mean a 42 year old man would have to the draw the line somewhere, but the point I'm making is that 42 is definitely the sexiest age for a man (until next year).

I'd also like to point out that my age is a very closely guarded secret and I'm not saying how old I am :shh:

I think 42 year old men are just the sexiest Who? :D
(Of course that all changes in 2009 when 43 year old men will be so much better  )

And FranFran... I go for guys a minimum of around 10years older than me and have more than doubled my age before... why shouldn't it be the other way round :)

I didn't mean anything negative with that wink. I meant it as a symbol of approval.
I guess it depends on how old you are. A 25 year old dating a 12 year old could be a bit off.
I understand how you feel, but I have found as I get older, a wider gap in age difference isn't such a bad thing. :)

Don't worry - it's nothing like that - he's over 18 (but not by much). But so far I've managed to convince myself that it's too big a gap in ages. And then there's an article I read about a week and a half ago about people who had relationships with someone considerably older or younger and how the relationships didn't last. OK, the article was about celebrities and they're not exactly in the real world like the rest of us, but just the same....

Here's a bitch to the Female First administrators:
Why the hell was this thread moved from Member's Chit-Chat into "Bitchin'"?
The thread has nothing to do with arguing!
