Watermelon is lovely. I would eat it more if it weren't for the seeds being dotted all over the flesh (blinking nuisance) so I tend to eat other types.
Buy the seedless ones. They are not as sweet though. When I'm at home, I just spit the seeds out and she how far the will fly.

I've tried the spitting the seeds out thing, but I find it such a nuisance...maybe if I aimed at my fella or the cat when spitting it would be more fun?

Yes, I've been buying seedless ones for maybe 10 - 15 years. I dunno, times gets away from me.... in other words, they've been around for a long time. Like I said above, the ones with seeds are much sweeter.
As for a watermelon growing in your tummy... when I was a kid, the elders would tell me not to swallow the seeds or a watermelon would grow in my tummy. After that, whenever I saw a pregnant woman I thought she had a watermelon growing inside.
I have never seen anyone turn into a sunflower or had one growing out of them.
