Umm, didn't you say he was your ex boyfriend? I assume he was your ex when he slept with this other girl.

but sometimes it is the case that people have a relationship break, then one of them takes the opportunity to sow their wild oats. They then expect to get back together and won't even take a test, so maybe she's more worried about std's
