Hello everyone, this looks rather fun! Sorry Ive not been on the site in a while but Ive been away. Hi Buffyfan too - nice to read about your adventures last week.

Luckily I caught up with this thread last night giving me a chance to wear a short skirt for work today. Im not quite sure what all the rules are but Ive gone with a straight grey skirt about 2 inches above the knee, a pale pink blouse, a white slip and tan tights. Hope thats ok, the skirt is a bit shorter than I normally wear to work and as there is no privacy panel on my desk which opens into reception where people wait I am going to have to be quite careful or people will be able to see up my skirt.

Hi everyone. D.G. and i have again burried the hatched and r participating in skirt day 2day We both decided 2 wear similar outfits...denimn skirts, not 2 tight but not that full either, about half way inbetween. Mine is about 4 inches above my knees. Hers a bit shorter bcause she's taller. To comply with the rules we are both wearing the tan hose. Not sure of her undie color though my mine are just plane jane white. It's been so wet here from the recent tropical storm that at least we won't have 2 worry about sitting on the grass outside at lunch like last time. We also have a new girl working here that we told about skirt day. She's just out of school and says she hasn't worn a skirt since her primary school Just a few dresses 4 fancy occasions like weddings and proms. She also said she has NEVER worn hose of any kind...gusse that makes sense if she wears pants all the time So i'm just off 2 work now. It will b interesting 2 c what if anything new girl comes up with.

Hi Im amazed how many people are doing this. I was going to fink out but I guess I have to now. So today will be a plaid kilt and white blouse. The kilt comes up to about 3 inches above the knee, plenty short enough for work. And the requisite hose and pink panties.

Have on STW hose and pink panties. Skirt that ends around 5 inches above knee. A bit short for work, but hey it is Friday. WooHoo

This must be denim skirt day! I went with a denim mini skirt...about 4 inches above my knees, pink panties and nude hose. My strappy sandals are too dressy for work so I wore red cowgirl boots with a 4 inch stacked heel from Jessica Simpson. This is fun

This is a bad day 4 skirt day at least for Amy..OMG, another Amy How will we keep her seperate from K2 Anyways, it's awful here. Raining really hard and wind 15-25MPH. I'm SO glad i choose a conservative skirt. But poor Amy had all sorts of problems just getting 2 work in her skirt. I told her about ff and tried 2 get her 2 post about her 1st time skirt experience but she is shy and doesn't want 2. So maybe we need some encouragement from other postees 2 get her 2 write something

Ok, Ok. I'm "new girl." I work at the same office as "Buffyfan" and "Dawn Girl." Maybe I should register and make up some related name. As Buffyfan posted, it has been a pretty long time since I had to wear a skirt for anything. I used to wear skirts to school up until the 9th grade. All the girls had to wear the same stupid uniforms. We just got used to it I guess. Even though it was an all girl school, most days I wore little shorts under my skirt so I didn't have to risk my panties being flashed once out of school. I can't remember ever wearing pantyhose. Maybe once when I stood up for a wedding. That's it. So now all of a sudden in the middle of an almost hurricane and to an office with lots of young hot guys, I'm told it's "skirt day" and I have to find a skirt to wear. So I went along with it and borrowed a skirt from my girl friend. I must admit I thought I looked pretty hot once I got it on this morning. It's a really pretty sort of full skirt with just about every color imaginable in different geometric patterns. Since I'm sort of tall like Dawn Girl, it turned out to be shorter on me than on my girl friend but looking in the mirror I was still fully covered with room to spare. I complied with the pink panties and tan pantyhose. I take the bus to work most days to save on gas. So today it was in the middle of a rain storm. I walked to the bus stop, umbrella in hand and my skirt started to blow up in the air. I was horrified and struggled to hold it down with my one free hand. This continued on and off while waiting for the bus and to make it worse there were severa guys around watching the display. My skirt would stay ok for awhile and then wosh, up it would go again. But it was raining so hard I couldn't set the umbrella down or I would get soaked. I'm pretty sure everyone at the bus stop knew what color panties I had choosen for the day. Finally, after what seemed like forever the bus came and I got on. I found one of the seats that faces across to another and found out that ones legs get stared at much more in a skirt than with pants. So I immediately knew I would have to be very careful as the guy across from me had a clear view. Finally we got to the bus stop by the office and I go to get off. Again with the umbrella in one hand and and struggling to get it open with the other, my skirt went right up again in front. I was totally mortified to the point I think I even screemed. I clutched one side of my skirt as best I could for the short walk to the office door. When Buffyfan and Dawngirl asked me how I liked wearing a skirt so far, I just about lost it. Fortunately I haven't been outside since but am already dreading the trip home. But then a guardian angle came to my rescue and Buffyfan offered to drive me home. Her car is parked inside the garage so we won't even have to go outside. Other than that, it's all good. Wearing pantyhose takes some getting used to. I'm not used to being that confined and the waste band is starting to bind and bug me. I'm also not used to having to watch my every move I make for fear of causing a run or hole. But so far so good. If I ever wear a skirt again, it will only be on a nice day for sure.

Good on you to give pantyhose a try. Too many young girls have never worn and have no idea how nice they make your legs look. I'm sorry you had some troubles. Beauty does have its price.
