Hi kangaroo2!

I have never had my skirt lifted. Thank goodness.

Sandradee's post is every woman's nightmare. She must have been absolutely mortified. If someone pulled up my skirt like that I would be embarrassed beyond belief. What an awful thing to do to a woman.

Sandradee, if you are out there, I hope you can recover from that humiliation. You really have my sympathy.

By the way, kangaroo2, this is a strange, but interesting question. I don't personally think that guys are more bolder, I think that some guys have no respect for women. That lack of respect when combined with alcohol can lead things like this.

Hopefully, Kangaroo2, none of your skirt lifting incidents were as bad as Sandradee's seems to have been.

It sounds to me that the guys are just plain jerks. No one should ever lift a woman's skirt. Ever.

I agree with the above posts that alcohol and disrespect are probably major factors. I also believe that lifting a woman's skirt can be viewed as assault and the person could be arrested??? Maybe??

It has not happened to me, but I saw it happen to a friend of mine during our senior year in high school. She was in the hallway, when this jerk pulled her skirt completely up and held it up! She looked utterly horrified and just burst into tears. I felt so bad for her. Later, she told me that she was so shocked and humiliated when it happened, that it literally took her breath away.

Pulling up a girl's skirt is one of the meanest things you could ever do to a girl. I just can't imagine being so cruel. So if guys are lifting your skirt, you need to get the heck out of there and go somewhere where people don't do that.

Reading this thread makes me glad I'm wearing jeans right now!

To answer your question, I had my skirt lifted when I was in high school. A guy that I couldn't stand did it to me in the cafeteria. It was awful. I almost died. My friends asked me why I didn't hit him or something. The honest answer is that I was so embarrassed I couldn't even think clearly. Getting my skirt pulled up was the worst thing anyone has ever done to me, but I am over it now and I have not had anyone else do that to me.

I think that 99.9% of guys would never pull up a woman's skirt. But there will always be some idiot out there that thinks it's funny to do that to someone. Hopefully you will not encounter any more of these jerks.

Wow, a lot of people are responding to this. I clicked on it thinking it was a joke until I read about some of the other women's experiences.

My skirt was lifted at a wedding reception. The woman that did it was drinking heavily. (Imagine that). I was on the dance floor and she pulled my skirt up to my waist in front of a ton of people. There are no words to describe how unbelievably embarrassing that was. I can really relate to the other women's stories. I think that anyone who does that to a woman is absolutely heartless.

I am pleased to say this has never happened to me, although I did have someone thinking he had a right to start touching me at a bus stop last year. To be totally blunt, any person touching someone or invading someone's space is any uninvited way is assault. There us just no excuse.

This happened to me once in a pub. The youth was a bit drunk. I was wearing a tightish skirt (unusual for me) that stayed up round my waist where he pulled it. I think I shocked him a bit by not really resisting then saying, "well, what are you going to do now?" He just stood there staring at my naked pussy for a few seconds then just turned and walked away.
My bf was at the bar and didn't see what happened.

sandradee wrote:Yes, I have had my skirt lifted up. I can honestly say it was the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me. My boyfriend and I were at a restaurant standing at the bar and having a great time talking with friends. One of my boyfriend's cousins was really drunk and he walked up behind me and pulled my skirt ALL THE WAY UP! I was so embarrassed I thought I was going to die. It happened in front of a lot of people. I was totally humiliated. My boyfriend was so pissed at him. I spent about an hour in the ladies room crying my eyes out. My boyfriend took me home. I still cringe when I think about it and it happened over a year ago.

Your BF should have beat the guy senseless. That is just soooo wrong.

Someone lifted my skirt when I was in college. It happened at a party and only my friends were around. A drunken guy did it and it was embarrassing, but I was not totally humiliated. My skirt was only up for a second and it was just my friends that were there. I held my head up and moved on.

After reading some of these other posts, I think I was fortunate. What happened to Sandradee sounds horrible. I can't think of anything more humiliating than having my skirt lifted in the middle of a crowded restaurant.

I have not seen any other posts from her, but I hope her BF took care of that a**hole.

Unfortunately, there are people out there that don't care about anyone. I'm sure that what happened to Sandradee was devastating and I bet that loser could care less.

Hey guys, thanks for the sympathy!

Yes, my BF did confront his cousin. It was kind of awkward, but he did apologize to me. I accepted his apology, but I don't think I could ever completely forgive him. Frankly, he pulled up my skirt in a public place, I don't think an apology will erase that.

I am engaged to be married and I know that I will marry his family, including the "skirtlifter" cousin. I will try to be optimistic that all will go well in the future.

Thanks for listening

Hi everyone,

Let me say at the beginning that I have never had my skirt lifted up. Hopefully, no one will ever do that to me. I have read all the posts and I think that sandradee's account of what happened to her is just horrible. That guy should have the s*** pounded out of him.

OMG, this is scary.

Lifting a woman's skirt is assault.

It has not happened to me, Thank God!!!!

People that lift a woman's skirt are perverted criminals. It should never happen!!!!

I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but Sandradee's account of her skirt being pulled up in that restaurant is painful to read. I don't think I could ever survive such a violation of my skirt and my womanhood. I hope that she is okay after that.

I just read sandraee's post. OMG, I would die if someone did that to me.

What I can't understand is why guys think this is funny. Sandradee was publicly humiliated. Why is this funny????

Hi,

My skirt got pulled up in high school, but it was not a big deal. I was able to protect my dignity. The guy that did it was stoned, but not an a*****.

When I read sandrdee's account, I knew that sucked. That poor woman. If my skirt ever got pulled up in public, I would die. My heart goes out to her.

I believe that guys are so selfish and so self centered that they don't even realize what the consequences of their behaviors are. These guys would think nothing of pulling up a women's skirt and would probably laugh at our humiliation!

I can't directly answer your question, but what happened to my date was really bad.

I was out with my friends and my ultimate girlfriend at that time. She was older than me and was a really classy lady. One of her friends (alcohol again) was so drunk that he couldn't even speak. He grabbed her skirt and pulled it up so badly that she was in shock. I can still remember the look on her face as she clutched at her underwear. This SOB thought it was funny!! I punched him and he left, but that poor woman was so embarrassed that she ran into the bathroom in tears.

I never spoke to that dude again!

I still can not understand why he did that. The only good news was that this women became my wife.
