Provided you are happy that a test area has responded ok it is ok to proceed and peel both arms at the same time. I would not use 50% but dilute it to 20% for your first peel, then slowly work your way up to stronger if you wish to. You can get dilution instuctions from skinbio site, but basically half water half tca should be ok. You should only do a one layer peel and air on the side of caution..Try taking vit c and other supplements too as this should help the repair process. I would not recommend trying to get complete frosting on each arm, the skin still peels without this anyway.

To the other person, I often put olive oil on my skin half an hour or so after applying tca and continue to use it throughout the peel process.

Sorry half water half tca would take it to 25%, so you would need to dilute it a little bit more than that.

If you have 100% tca and want to dilute it to 20% you will need 1 part tca and 4 parts water

how are the treatments going guys?

im going nowhere with mine. still carrying on with the tca but it doesnt appear to be doing much for me. its so frustrating.

i really dont know where to go from here guys. ive tried everything else. any suggestions?

im going to carry on with the peels but i have low expectations

Would I be available to workout while I do the TCA peels? If not how long would I wait to workout?

I currently workout everyday for 2 hours min. I also sweat a lot especially during cardio.

I'm just weighing it up, I would much prefer to buy from novapeels than platnium skincare as I'm from australia and with our current exchange rate it means I'd be paying a considerate amount more. I'm just questioning the quality though. G, have you considered that novapeels might not be as strong or as good a quality as platnium skincare and that could be the reason why it's not peeling for you.

i dont know where this misunderstanding has come from but the tca from novapeels deffinately causes one to peel. the patch test i did at the start took a long time to peel but that was simply because i did an extremely thin layer. ive done around 5 peels properly now and they have all peeled perfectly. so as for quality i have no reason at all to doubt that novapeels is any worse than anywhere else. its frosting and peeling just as it should. the only thing is im just not receiving great results from it. which is down to difference of the individual and not the quality of the tca. as i said the quality from novapeels is just as good as anywhere else from the experience i have had. it has caused the skin to peel just as it should. it must just be that tca peels do not work that well for me. im going to carry on with it but i dont have high hopes.

im not going to try any other tca just because this one didnt work as it has worked exactly as it should, i just havent experienced too many positive results.

I work out a lot as well. The only thing that I've noticed with the peels is that sometimes the skin gets very very dry and scaly after a couple of days and if you make really sharp movements the scabs that form can open. This happened to me on my shoulder from doing a lot of arm/toning moves. I guess I didn't keep the area mosturized enough. It didn't hurt or anything, but the spot that opened up was red and when the whole area finally peeled it was still a little more pink than the rest of the skin. I guess the worst that can happen is a premature peel...I never had any issues with sweating.

To the person who is from Australia, Nova Peels will not send you a TCA peel as it is against regulations.

Platinum skin care does though.
