Never heard of this product and realize it won't do all that it says it will (none of them do!). However I wonder if this may be a good product to use on SMs since it has a lot of peptides in it and I hear folks here talking about how well copper peptides work even if they don't totally cure SMs.

Sorry.....relax.....not a scam post. I was really just asking for opinions on the peptide content of this product. I KNOW IT WILL NOT CURE SMs. NOTHING WILL. I was just wondering if this has the same or similar content as some of the other products people are using that contain copper peptides and that people are using in conjunction with peels, etc.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. I didn't mean to sounds as if I was calling the poster a scammer, if I did I do apologise. But I did and do still feel that the link/site is a scam. Like G said, it is an affiliate type of link (why didn't I think of that I did affiliate marketing for 6 months!).

It's funny how all we want is something to make these marks look better. We're not asking for much are we? (although, I am sure if there was something out there that could totally erase them we would go for it).
But most treatments etc just don't do a thing, they don't change their appearance in any way whatsoever, which is rather depressing, time wasting and money wasting!
I'm happy with just finding something that would reduce the look of them by say 50%... not even to get rid of them completely. I will keep wishing though. Maybe one day.

i too would like to appologise you probably just went through an affiliate link and when you copy and pasted the link we saw an affiliate link and automatically assumed it was yours and that you were trying to sell. sorry.

it really is so frustrating. it seems like alot of old members arent posting anymore and i would love to hear from them. i remember someone who used to post here (kojiro i think) who worked in skin regeneration (or something like that sorry it was along time ago) and i would love to hear if he knows anything about us getting any closer to finding a cure. he seemed to know a lot about the subject and believed that the most improvement would come from lasers as this is the technology which is developing the quickest. tbh i hope it isnt lasers as i dont have a chance of being able to afford treatment but a cure is a cure wether its expensive or not. it would be nice to know that a cure isnt too far away. right now it seems like theres never going to be a cure or its going to be a long long time away. if anyone knows of any up and coming new treatments that look promising it would be very interesting to hear and it might help give me and others a little bit of hope which would be nice as right now im feeling crap about things.

I'm curious... so can I just ask anyone who is willing to answer...

Why do your stretch marks upset you? is it because of where they are on your body? or because of how many there are? if that makes sense.

For me, it's both. I have alot in many areas... so the fact that I have a lot of stretch marks that upsets me. Also, some of them are in places I would rather they weren't... because they aren't so easy to constantly hide/cover up, unless I want to walk around like a nun of course.

I think if I just had them on my thighs or bum (I still wouldn't like them of course) I think they really wouldn't effect my life so much! and I wouldn't be so obsessed over them all the time.I don't go out showing off my thighs or bum, so I could hide them. But when you have them on your arms, belly, boobs, back, hips, thighs, lower legs etc... it becomes a bit silly to be honest.

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you have a great day!

yeah i mean i don't like the ones on my hips, but i never fretted so bad until i got them all the way down my legs. they not only look gross, but feel gross. people just automatically suspect it's from gaining a bunch of weight, i've had them pointed out and ridiculed about it before. i wish more people would get them in these odd areas so it wouldn't feel so alien like!

for me it would be both like yourself but it would be mainly the sheer amount i have. my entire back and i mean my ENTIRE back is covered and if all those dissapeared along with the ones on my shoulders i would be extatic. i really think if i got rid of them in those 2 areas i wouldnt care at all about my others (well not anywhere near as much anyway). the ones that cover my legs dont really bother me that much but i think this is because i have them so much thicker and worse elsewhere (even though the ones on my leg are bad by anyones standards). also the ones on my legs arent as in the line of fire if you know what i mean. the 3 areas i really really desperately want to go are my shoulders, back and bum. actually i would like to add my arms to that list aswell, sorry i forgot i even had them i have so many lol. if those were to dissapear i wouldnt care about the others. and if i only had minor stretch marks i wouldnt care in the slightest. i would die for minor stretch marks lol. if they were to go i would be so much more confident and i wouldnt be affraid to get naked. ive just reread that last sentence and i know it sounds a bit ridiculous lol but its true.

anyways have a good christmas guys

p.s i am slightly drunk so i appologise for any rubbish i have just posted

Hi! I have been following this forum for some time. I noticed MAI did not have any luck with the caroboxy therapy injections. I started them last March and only saw minor improvements in the stretch marks, but noticed that my hips became smaller and more taut so to speak. Then my doctor got a newer machine. It is the newest brazilian version and she administered the brazilian technique which consists of not only injecting along the mark itself but a couple of injections simply to get the gas under the entire area. I have had over 15 injections and am continuing treatment. I am extremely happy with the results and some stretchmarks have completely disappeared. I just wanted to share that with you all, if you can find a doctor with the newest machine.. check carboxyworld.com, that the results are really good. I have had these marks since puberty, they are over 10 years old on my hips however I am a naturally thin female. I have tried everything else including tcp peels, lasers, relume laser to repigment the mark, microderm.. and nothing has worked. Now not only did I lose inches and cellulite, the marks are almost gone. Hope that helps and good luck!!

Hi guys
It's been a while since I've written a post even though I read the thread all the time. I'm currently in a place where I feel so frustrated that I'm willing to try bizarre things just to see if there is any improvement. The problem is I haven't followed through because I don't know if there will be any resolution. Have a good laugh. Here are some things I have given a shot.

Licking a graphite pencil. In homopathy graphite is used to soften Keloid scars. So why not sm's?

Wrapping Duck Tape over the sm's. I kept the tape on for almost three days straight. I couldn't stand it any longer, it bugged me so bad. I figured silicone has shown some positive results in diminishing scars and the tape has been used to remove warts on the skin. The thought behind both of these is that covering the skin and not letting air get to it may cause the skin to repair itself. So I would use my dermaroller, put retin-a on then wrap my belly with the tape. Crazy, I know.

I also was doing some "research" about enzymes that dissolve scar tissue. Suppossedly it's naturally found in sperm. So, you know...

Anyway, I'm going on a cruise to Mexico in a few weeks and I'm excited for the warmth but so upset about the swimsuit thing. I bought a one piece and it just makes me sad. I can't even do a tankini because it can ride up and show my belly. The part that kills me is that i work hard to have a nice fit body but my sm's make it so it doesn't matter.

I'm continuing to do the castor oil/heating pad thing. That one is easy to do! :D

Hey everyone

Just wanted to post on a couple of things...

What bothers me so much about the marks? Just the way that they look in general...jagged, pearly, scarlike...ugh. It just seems like I got them everywhere between puberty & weight gain over the years...chest, back, hips and arms. If I could get the ones on my arms and chest to disappear, I would be 100% more comfortable with myself.

Also, I've been going for pro-fractional treatments on my arms since August. I've had 4 treatments and I would say that there's about a 50% improvement. They're definitely still there, but they're "hardly" noticable from some angles and in some lighting. The doc said that I could still use a couple more treatments, he seems to think that there's still some improvement to be had, so we'll see.

Does anyone know if carboxytherapy is/or ever will be offered in Canada??

I wish I would have known what I was doing to myself when I gained the weight...

Just thought I would share.

wouldnt it be amazing just to wake up without stretch marks. it seems crazy all we want is normality. we want what everyone else has and thats why its so annoying/frustrating. its strange how everyone else takes their skin for granted yet there isnt a second in my day where im not thinking about mine.

if i woke up without stretch marks i would probably cry. id be so elated i cant describe it. yet if you showed anyone else your new skin they would just be like 'so...'

treatment wise i really dont know what to do. ive tried pretty much everything now and no success. if anyone has any ideas or knows of any up and coming new treatments or what the future holds or anything then pls let me know.

how are things going on your end J havent heard from you in a while?

so are you saying we should apply sperm on our sm's? :?:

Lol, personally, taking note of the word "was"... I doubt it. It obviously didn't work. If it did though, I'd certainly try it. I would try ANYTHING if it worked...

Hope everyone had a good christmas!

Chic wrote:Ok, I've just heard back from another permanent make up artist. She's based in Harley Street in London. She said it is possible to permanently cover up all my white stretch marks completely. However because my area is quite big (from about over my knees to my waist) it will take several visits for several months to finish. It will also not be cheap but I'm guessing it will be about the same as laser. I'm abroad now so I'm going to get an exact quote when I return in the new year. I'll let you know how it goes. I feel optimistic about this because this treatment just CAN'T not work, as it's simply camouflage and does not depend on your skin collagen or other factors etc. Fingers crossed!

Could you please but a web address for this doctor or anywhere we can see before/after pictures.

Thank you

The clinic is called Finishing Touches in London. However if you do a google search for scar/stretch marks/vitiligo etc. and camouflage/permanent makeup or another technique which is called MCA (Multitrepannic Collagen Actuation or in other words dry needling) it should give you lots of choices for clinics.
This clinic is the first I'm visiting, but I might do some more searching before I start so I can get a better price. At the moment permanent makeup is my only hope. I've seen some amazing before/after pictures with white scars and vitiligo treatment in various sites.

Be very careful with this. Skin color/tone changes day-to-day. For example, when I'm cold, my skin gets a little darker and when I'm warm, a little lighter. It's a very subtle difference, but different none the less. I have an old white burn scar that I had a small area done with permanent makeup to just test it. I decided not to go through with having the whole thing done because sometimes the spot that was done blends nicely, but some times it doesn't, depending on my skin color at any given moment. I bet it will cover stretch marks nicely, but I would be afraid it would not blend with the surrounding skin all the time.
