When do you think Britain will get a Pakistani prime minister? When will Australia get an Aboriginal prime minister? They would be milestones as well.

So was Obama. It's all in the book he wrote. Lena, Obama does not refer to his cocaine use as "experimenting." Pick it up and read it. It's not a bad read, boring, but not bad.

I guess I'm missing something. When was Obama arrested?

HUH? :?

Nothing has been written about Obama being arrested in these posts.

Obama was open about his past issues as well as Bush was. Does that explain better?

Sorry. :console: I was saying "Obama was open" too about his issue with substances. I wasn't saying that he has been arrested in the past.

So what is obama going to do about the 246 suspected terrorists being held at Gitmo, now that he signed a presidential order to close it down?

Is he going to let them go? House them in US prisons? Figure it out later?

Does this make America safer, or more dangerous?
o'bumma is a play on words, using the American slang "bummer" = an unfortunate situation. oh!...bummer! is spelled as o'bumma. This and similar plays on words can be found in numerous places throughout the internet.

But do you want terrrorists mixing with your bad guys? :?

obama's press secretary also basically admitted there is no plan. They are going to set up a commission to study the situation.

Also am sure our convicts wud be rougher with those terrorists then anyone at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo ever was ............. Hey Habib , time for your daily ass kicking !

Setting up commissions to decide something is no new thing with Obama , it's as American as apple pie .I bet there people like clerical and teckies whose whole career is working for the commission of the day .............

I did NOT do any such thing. Stop the exaggerations. Lena, read the book for yourself before you try to rebut what I'm saying.

In his book, Obama openly tells about about sleeping on the streets and getting professional help for the cocaine issue. Lena, I've already said, it is not who he is today, what's in the past for a person is in the past. I replied to you about about the lack of difference regarding your comment about the "town drunk". Again... read his book for yourself. I read it shortly after he was nominated.

Hey Ben. Yes, I am concerned about this too as well as many other Americans are. The main thing that bothers me about this is, a few years ago when one was released and returned to Iraq, he was again arrested and this time it was for one of the terrorist attacks there which killed people.

I do agree that they can't be detained here indefinitely. I hope within a years time, the Iraqi military police will be able and willing to deal with them.

So you make light of Obama's faults -- and over-dramatize Bush's faults complete with calling him insulting names.

Interesting.

I always get a kick out of someone who condemns the other side and praises their side for exactly the same behavior. Obviously they're not serious about politics at all, but it even seems to be even another level of bias / game playing.

Carry on, don't mind me. :-)

He's clearly going to just figure it out later. Let's face it, Obama's whole claim to fame was he was wrong about the war. Which is evidence to suggest there's no reason to assume his judgment in this kind of case is sound.
