Its like a boxing match... :D I expect a good clean fight... :D

Obama and Bill Clinton both acknowledged Mc Cain during the democratic conference and it was good to see the democrats are not being complacent...... :D

Of course they acknowledged McCain. He's an American hero and has been serving his country for a long time. IF the Repubs had someone on the opposing side, I'm sure they would do the same, but as it is, we don't have anyone on the Dem side that can come close to American loyalty as McCain.

It seems to be a very clean fight so far. I wonder what will happen when the gloves come off.

True, but if palin is VP, there is a small chance america will have an unqualified president.

if obama is elected president, there is a 100 percent chance america will have an unqualified president.

the two are not the same lol

You got that right!
We Americans are damn tired of being thought of as dumb by the rest of the world. So we went to the polls in November and removed all doubt.

You must admit people, there is a difference in the way some of them conduct their behavior. No one on the Repub side breaks out riots and destroys property. The police sure had their hands full today. This has happened the last three times at the RNC by the democrats. They don't even protest peacefully. The always have to destroy buildings and break things.

true and it gets media coverage too.

there were protests outside the dnc i think over the way hillary was treated or something like that, but it got little media coverage, especially no pictures

True.
But their real problem lays with dealing with the realities of the real world.

A hero belongs in comic books and Hollywood or even better the American imagination..but not the white house. The Democrats acknowledged Mc Cains political agenda comparing it GWBs policies.

The abortion issue will be the Republicans downfall with women already on unequal pay..!

If America does want a hero in the white house...step up GI Joe... :D

What a show...! Palin speech was well rehearsed and promted.. :D

The other speakers got some " boos " except for Mick Huckerbee who acknowledged Obama and his achievements and got a standing ovation... :D

Mit Romney and Rudi Giuliani got the boos.... :D

Not that I know of , last I heard he was still in the comic books...I would of expected Hollywood to come knocking on his door by now...but even they saw the potential in making GI Jane instead.... :D

I wonder if GI Jane was on equal pay...?... :D

Chairman... I think the Republicans really missed a trick. If they wanted a real hero in the White House they really should have changed the US Constitution years ago...

Shame that. :D

Sarah was on tv last nite accepting the nomination and she was almost scary .

Looks weird with the combination of hair & glasses

This is someone who is a stone cold right winger who doesn't seem to even be listening to other points of view , in her mind she's right and thats the beginning middle and end of it all ! It all wrapped up in this mix of hyperness and arrogance ............

As a American I hope more bad stuff comes out so Mc Cain has to drop this yahoo from the ticket but as a Obama supporter I hope she stays on the ticket since she will surely cost him votes with people who don't want us turned into some fundamentalist right wing monstrosity where things like common sense and compassion are seen as evil.................
Alive in spite of myself and looking at the world .........
