Now you embarrass me jinjin. It wasn't a wedding ring or anything like that. There's a relatively young (and happily married) lady at work whom I have known platonicly for several years, for quite a while before she started there, actually. She has a lot of admirers among the customers, one of which gave her a rather nice platinum filigree ring. She doesn't want to wear it home, because her hubby would, as a rightly and culturally indignant Mexican-American male, probably come unglued and come down to the truck stop and start beating in some heads, as it were. So she slipped it onto my little finger instead. Where it has remained. :oops:
