I have had unprotected sex since not takin it and goin back on it. Could some one please tell me if this spotting is normal as i didnt have any while not takin it. Thank you.

I'd do a pregnancy test esp if you have had unprotected sex when not on the pill or within 7 days of starting it

I've been on Cerazette several months, was about to start my eighth month, had sex but the condom broke. That night I did not have my pill as I lost the last packet and missed the 12 hour gap. The day after having sex I took the morning after pill, but as this is not as effective I have to go to the doctor's in 3 weeks to check I'm not pregnant. I was just wondering, as I'm roughly in the middle of my cycle (missed last period anyway lol) would I have ovulated straight away in the couple of hours before taking the morning after pill? I got an emergency month of Cerazette afterwards. Just madly trying to work out the chances of being pregnant- seriously its driving me crazy lol.

Dont go to the GP clinic - they are rubbish. Find your nearest Family Planning Clinic, they are experts and will be able to help you with more experience than any GP

i would like to share my experience and confusing symptoms regarding cerazette.

I have been taking it for two and a half years, as soon as i started taking it my periods stopped which was a blessing for me cos i was suicidle with my periods, moods etc... soon after i started taking it i was experiencing several symptoms, i didn't think anything of this as i was only 27 at the time quite healthy etc.. it wasn't until xmas 07 that i was admitted to hospital with svt which is condition that makes your heart go very fast and i needed emergencty treatment, even then they did not collect all the evidence as to why i was having all these symptoms, however i have come to my own conclusions as to what the problem is.

Before i took cerazette i was having periods every 2 weeks with heavy bleeding, terrible depression and moods, then i took it and my periods stopped then a bit further down the line i was suffering from severe fatigue, hot sweat/flushes particularly at night, a few other probs relating down below and an irregular heartbeat, i have had several tests now for this and i know they are going to tell me i have gone through the menopause or going through it. Now is this linked to the pill or was this already happening to me any way, and older wiser advice would be very appreciated.

I've had no problems with Cerazette for a year but i've just realised my hair at the back has become really thin I've normally got thick hair and I can't hack the thought of losing any more so i'm going back on Micronor. The no periods thing is great but not worth going bald over.

Hi!!. Your experience with Cerazette sounds a lot like mine. I started taking it Feb time this year and got half way through the 2nd pack and stopped taking it due to the fact I was coming out in spots at 26 almost, getting moody and because I didn't seem to be having periods. So after taking Cerazette for roughly a month and a half (I started the first pack on the first day of my last period) I stopped the pill half way through the second pack 3 weeks this saturday coming up, I haven't had any period at all. I do sometimes get slight cramps which are no problem to me and a few times I've thought my periods about to start then nothing!!. I've done two pregnancy tests, one last saturday and one the saturday before and both read negative, which I was expecting anyway really because I've heard this pill can affect periods plus with only been on this pill a short time, I wasn't sure whether or not to trust it straight away so made sure I used condoms!!. Me been paranoid I guess but my bf wanted to check by doing tests as I suppose nothings 100%!!.x

ive been on this pill due to weight issues since end of march this year. started the pack as i was told by doc (on 1st day of period) but since then ive had nothing my tummy has swollen as if im about to come on but still no sign ive nearly finished the 2nd pack and soon starting the 3rd pack. im confused is this normal? i have missed a few pills but not that many. please anyone HELP!!!!!!

Hi!!. Yes this has happened to me too...I took Cerazette for about a month and a half, so stopped half way through a pack. I had no periods at all. I stopped taking it three weeks this saturday coming up due to spots appearing and mood swings etc plus just to see if my period would appear as I'd rather have periods than not have them at all (the doctor never told me periods could completly disappear- had I known this, I wouldn't have taken it in the first place). Since stopping the pill almost three weeks ago I still haven't had a period. I've read afew comments on this site and others, plus the leaflet that comes with the pills that Cerazette seems to affect people differently and I've noticed a lot of women saying they have no bleeding at all, so I'm guessing it's normal. Hope this helps.xx

have been on cerazette and taking it every day at the right time and not missed one for nearly 2 months now...and still have had no bleeding..whatsoever.. am wondering should this be happening as am very worried obviously about pregenancy..has this happened to anyone else?

So two weeks ago I decided to stop taking it and Im amazed how much energy I seem to have back and Im not as bloated only down side is I seem to be having a clear discharge not sure if this is my body just returning to normal will keep you posted.

Hi!. I posted on here the other day!. I stopped taking cerazette almost 3 weeks ago and still haven't had a period!. I've also been passing like a clearish quite thick mucus stuff. I do feel alittle bloated though and often get cramps which are not unbearable..but still no period!. Must also say that since stopping cerazette my skin has returned to normal..I came out in afew spots while taking cerazette that I've never had b4. Does anyone know what this mucus type stuff is!?. I've read that one of the things cerazettw does is to produce a mucus at the cervix area to I think stop sperm getting through so easily. I'm wondering if this is what this mucus is and if it's taht breaking away since stopping cerazette. I didn't seem to get this mucus while taking it!.xx

i have been bleeding now since the 19th of march i jst want to stop now going on hols soon and cant be doing with this ggrrrr i have been off cerezette now 4 a month nearly n one know how long it takes to stop bleeding pleaswe get back many thx

I've been on this pill for about a month now and have had intermittent bleeds. The latest one has lasted for a week so far now.....maybe THAT'S why it will work as a contraceptive for me cos I wont let my boyfriend near me in this 'condition'. Going back to the Family Planning Clinic next week to ask for a replacement.

Update on my stopping taking Cerazette to get back to normal after being on it for about 18-20 months NOT to get pregnant. After the big period of around the 3rd May which incidently only lasted 3 days (weird), is back - excellent.

So I stopped taking it, had a while with no period - possibly 3 weeks, then a 3 day heavy bleed, and 10 days off and now it is back. not as heavy as last time and symptoms are not as bad. Am keeping a diary.

I feel so much happier in myself since stopping taking it and so many people have commented on the difference.

i been on the cerezette pill 3 months and i have been bleeding since the 19th of march its doing my head in is this normal to bleed this long ??? i am going 4 a scan on thurs so will keep u all updated with whats going on..........hope its nothing to worry about tho...as im really stressing

hi i was on cerazette for 7 month and i stopped taking it about 2 or 3 week ago and still haven't had a period. i found i got migrains all the time and got really bloated on it . it says on the leaflet that u can put on weight on it but i lost loads of weight and my breast size went smaller, i also never had a propper period, i use to have light periods every 2 month or had no period at all. if i forgot to take a pill i wud cum on straight away the next day but wen i stopped takin it i haven't had 1 so im worried, ive done about 8 preg test and they all come back negative. i really dont know wot wrong an wot should i do ...

hmmmm u know cerezette is one of those funny pills i aint got a clue my boobs have gone bigger........i feel great now that im off the pill but i jst wish that i could stop this bleeding its very lite now so fingers crossed i think that pill takes about 6 months to come out of ur body then u mite get ur periods back on track so dont worry everything will be ok
