So a sarin gas bomb in downtown London would just be bad luck, not a weapon of mass destruction? It's ok if it happens in Iraq though. (May nothing like it ever happen again)
as far as I am awar, saddam had no plans to attack the UK, nor was there any link between iraq and 9/11. there are now white phosphorous, DU and many other little horrors in iraq, which have killed anything between 50,000 - 1/4 million innocent civilians.

"taken care of"? murdering the democractically elected leader of a country is 'taking care' of that country? have you any idea how bigoted you sound?

Iraq has been on the top 5 terrorist supporting regimes for the last 20 years. I disagree with how the UK and US handled this in the past, but I'm very much interested in how they are handling it now, even if I still disagree with some of the methods.

Do you know how Fukked you sound? I didn't kill him.

There are quite a few people who I wouldn't cry about if they died. For instance anyone who uses someones deepest fears and insecurities to StrapOn an explosive vest and kill themselves for a Mafia type extortionist organization with delusions of world power is right up there on my list of "better off dead."

Are you referring to Salvador Isabelino del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Allende Gossens? I thought we were done with this topic, but if you want to drag it back up, his own military killed him with no help from anyone. It happens all the time when a government leader drags their country down into insolvency and world ridicule.

I mean to keep some sort of open relations with murdering fanatics in the hope they'd go legit. I think it was idiotic to give them guerilla training, but it was the cold war. You prefer the cold war still be going on I assume, based on your naming yourself after an area famous for killing Brit humanitarian aid workers. Eh مقديشو ?

let me get this straight...you're saying they recruited someone they knew was an out and out psychopath, and supplied him clucter bombs and helped him to acquire chemical and biological weapons, all in the hope that he'd "go legit"?

can you explain your logic here?

FAS has a copy of the Congressional Record: September 20, 2002 (Senate)

http://www.fas.org/irp/congress/2002_cr/s092002.html

I think if you read it you'll get a fair representation of what happened. Some obfuscation and obstructions, but the tenor of what happened and why is there. It's not something to be proud of, but I don't ~pretend~ to be smart enough to know I'd do any better.

Anyone that believes this was a setup by the US government is a complete and utter moron, the type of moron that keeps informerical companies in business by buying the 4 minute ab trainer instead of the 5 minute ab trainer that was on sale the week before.
Some people believe anything they are told!
