FACT

Who told you that, Alf?

Alf Huckham wrote:YOU KNOW IT COL

A Kilt is NOT a skirt.

A MAN does not tuck or attempt to hide his parts.

A MAN does not shop in the women's department for clothing for himself.

Simply having male genitalia does NOT qualify one as a MAN.

Thus - people with male genetalia may tuck their parts and do their own clothes shopping in the women's department, but, they are NOT MEN. Thus - (say it with me now ;) ) Men do not wear skirts. Fact.

One those things a pretty clear, and very true. MEN DO NOT think because they can't in case of their FACTS. Just follow rules, but never can explain an own opinion. Rule and rules, but never an explanation. And that is FACT.

Sometimes rules need to be broken.

There are no general rules in the UK against men wearing kilts or skirts. I sometimes wear a kilt to work and to Church and often wear a casual kilt at weekends. Most men are more timid about being different from their peers, than women are.

I'm still not quite sure what you are trying to say, Mara.
God bless from Colin.

It is so easy to save something and copy / paste it each time. Saves wearing the fingers out, typing! It's a pity that it isn't what we would say.

I hope you are well, Davidhawkes.

I am well Colin. Hope you are too.

You have finally cracked it. Alf is incapable of typing, he just uses the copy/paste function!

When I type, I am saying what I think at the time.

Yes, say what you think at the time. There's not much point in saying anything else.
Yes, Davidhawkes, I am fine. The sun is shining. I'm in Scottish National Tartan kilt at work today.
God bless from Colin.

I wear my Utilikilt all over the place. Its a man skirt. Men in skirts are on the way here. They are arriving.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and- ... ar-skirts/

"At Men’s Fall 2009 Fashion Week, which took place this January, skirts showed up on numerous runways. Comme des Garcons showcased metallic versions both long and short, while Jean Paul Gaultier opted for a beige and black plaid version, worn over matching pants."

Men's fall 2009 happened in January? They like to plan in advance then!

Skirts are not gender specific. Does not matter whether you call it a man's skirt or a woman's skirt.

Why bother wearing them over pants?

Why not just bare legs, or with pantyhose (another garment that is gaining in male popularity).

Btw, I am not talking about crossdressing (where men pretend to look like women). Not that there is anything wrong with that though.

If they are appearing on walkways, then whoever markets them appropriately will make a fortune. Some say that men will never buy them. How does one know that if a skirt is never even considered an option in the first place!!

Colin, you wear a kilt to your job? What is the reaction? I assume everyone is cool about it?

So I will summarise:

MEN DO WEAR SKIRTS
