The SkirtCafe people are just seeking freedom of choice and equality for men. We have no intention of forcing anyone to follow our choices, but just enabling them to have true freedom of choice.
It is the old "stick in the muds" that want to force men to wear only trousers and ladies to wear only skirts. That is not freedom! Ladies have broken the mould and wear trousers without worrying whether people think that they are wierd, so why shouldn't men have the same freedom of choice too?

the only thing preventing men having more freedom in dress is other men with outdated views.

Taking up your comment, Alf, on going back to the ice age, do we get a refund on the extra road tax for global warming? Perhaps you could campaign for this refund instead of criticising us. It will benefit you when you are old enough to drive.

Alf Huckman's style exposes him as one of those feral guests who has finally logged on as a member...

The only "fact" applicable here is that over 70% of the men on this planet already wear some form of skirt-like garment, at least some of the time, as part of their regular clothing..

It isn't so much a case of introducing 'Fashion Freedom' for men in general, as it is of bringing the positions/situations of us mere males in the more repressed parts of the world into line with the world at large.


My notion of Fashion Freedom : that all people - men and women - should have the right to wear whatever they like, [or not - I also support the idea of more public nudity - I'm all in favour of more public nudity..] in their own time; with due allowance being made for safety, practical and cultural needs at times.

So this means that all "Guests" can indeed voce their opinion then before becoming Members.

I've seen the forum, and it's all we're not weird like those trannies, where apart from being derogatory it misses the whole point that it's not just fashion freedom...some womens clothes are just sensual in a way mens clothes never will be

Sensuality is something that no one gender should have a monopoly right to. Again, equality is the issue. Men who wear kilts and skirts have no intention of looking girlie, any more than a lady wearing trousers is trying to look masculine. I have yet to see a man in a kilt looking anything other than masculine.

If I wanted to look like a woman, I would wear blue jeans.

You will have to actually go out and about eventually sometime, Alf, if you want to see real people - men and women - in a variety of skirt-like garments - they are out here in the wider world...

Maybe when you're a few years older - and big enough to drive - you may be able to finally get out and see what it really is like in the wider world out here..
