Some people took exception to me not caring about my heels doing damage to floors. It just kinda happens and I just kinda let it lol

Yes I guess it just kind of happens. I of course wouldn't try to damage someones private floor, but on the other hand I can't go around on tip toes the whole time being over cautious. I can't spend time checking everywhere I've walked for damage either. Isn't that the job for all those fetishy guys anyway ? When I do happen to feel my heels dig in I'm not going to go back to the shop owner, hotel staff or whoever to apologise am I ? What am I going to say ? "Sorry my heels just wrecked your floor. Is their anyway I can compensate you ?"

Hahaha I agree! I think the point I was trying to make was that I am not careful nor should I have to be, like you say. Nor would i try to damage someones private floor. But I would pick a pair of boots that I knew had exposed nails if they went with my outfit or for the look I wanted, even if going to a friends house. I would take them off if I was asked, but I would keep them on otherwise and would walk and stand normally. Damage will undoubtedly occur, but it's not deliberate, its consequential.

Yes I always have fun in my heels. I plan to go out later. I'm wondering it it will sandals or boots today as its still a bit cold. Either way they will be nice and high and should get some attention.

A house is to live in, and so the floor, I'm so not wear less beautiful shoes or ask my visit to do so because otherwise dents and scratches can get in the floor .

When we bought our house there was an oak parquet floor that was refurbished not so long, that was no reason for us to ask the people that visit us to take off their shoes, I love to wear them my self, and frankly I also find a wooden floor has to look that he lived like.

If I'm going to visit, and people ask I'll try to be careful on their floor, and walk tiptoe, but in a shop, restaurant or other public place I just walk on my heels.

Last night we had our gospel service in the chapel with a tile floor. I wore stilletos and most of the ladies who went did as well and with all of us heel tapping or stomping on that tile floor...it made quite a unique sound

Hey Amy,

I think for many people (especially men ) it will have been pretty tough to concentrate on the service.
Normally you would really see heads turn your side when you walk with metal heels, especially in an enclosed space where the sound still remains resound.

Is something other than dancing on the wooden floors where the only noise is cracking.
