Is a watch a good gift?

Postby Renee Blacker » Thu Aug 11, 2011 9:35 pm

My sisters birthday is coming up and I had some trouble coming up with a gift idea. I came across this watch that I actually want to buy for myself, but thought it might also make a great gift. Its called the fling by Speidel and it comes is stainless or gold but I think I prefer the stainless for myself. I found it on their Facebook page, I think its for sale there too. It has chronograph functions, which I guess is good if your timing yourself running. I don't really know anything about watches, but I really only intend to use it as a fashion accessory and not really for its function. Anyway, here is a pic (I hope you can see it). Feedback please! Definitely, watch is a good gift. However, it depends on the person you are going to present it. However, I would recommend you to get gifts _ from internet as there are many great _ shopping sites which offers discounts as well as voucher discounts to get a good deal.

I've heard that watch as a present means bad luck for the relationship.. that they will break up/putting time on their relationship.
