Wow, I am amazed that so many women are embarrassed by their inverted nipples. I always thought I was lucky to have inverted nipples. My mom is so jealous that mine don't show through t-shirts. She has to but tape over her nipples because they stick out so much.
Please don't think a guy will laugh at you or make you feel bad. If he does you need not be with him.

Hi girls, I'm writing on here because my girlfriend has one inverted nipple and keeps saying that she hates her breasts

I have been with her for 3 years and have tried to tell her in many different ways that I don't care and that I love her the way she is. She has recently been talking about having her nipple pierced, but says that she doesn't like the piercing and would want to take it out as long as it "fixed" her nipple.

My question is... has anyone had a nipple pierced to keep it out, and if you were to remove the piercing will your inverted nipple return?

I just want to point out some important things being someone who has inverted nipples. I'm 27 and have been through all the phases of...Is it normal..could it cause health problems in the future...can it effect breast feeding...is it in anyway related to breast cancer and of course embarassment in front of new partners. Here is what I've found out. It is completely normal. It can however cause health problems it not taken care of. I was told by the breast clinic doctor that I must make sure to make them erect twice a day and keep them clean or they will get infrected. It can effect brest feeding if they don't come out on their own or at all. The only way an inverted nipple should consern you in regards to breast cancer is if the nipple is inverted but hasn't always been that way also if you have any kind of discharge. If you are in anyway unsure go and see a doctor to get confirmation its always better to be safe than sorry. As far as the embarracment is concerned. We are more bothered about it than men are. I've been married 6 months and been with my husband nealy 6 years and he just said that it makes me unique and he loves them. Infact I think he has alot of fun making them erect. So Please don't be ashamed by them just make sure they do come out for hygene reasons. My nipples have been like this for as long as I can remember and only about 9 months ago did a doctor tell me about the hygine side of things. Hope this is helpfull to you.

hello everyone!
i'm comming from Macedonia(country on Balkan Peninsula), and i felt happy reading all these posts because i now know that i'm not alone and i'm not freak(i was thinking this all these years).
I am 21 and have nipple inversion stage 2 since i was 11. A month ago i talked with a surgeon, an operation will cost about 50 euro (it is financed from Healthcare Fund because that is a congenital problem) and i want to do the surgery but my problem is that i can not tell my mother(i haven't been close with her) but at the other side, i think that she should know about it as my mom. pleace give me some advice, i wanna make a surgery but i think that i will not do it before i tell her, and i haven't got a courage of doing that. :(

I had one inverted nipple and one beautiful nipple. I had surgery correction about six months ago. At first the nipple looked almost exactly like the other, almost better. Now it still looks normal except the aereola did grow a little over the nipple. At time of correction, I also had breast augmentation. At first, when I would bend over, the nipple correction side did not feel normal and almost felt like it was stretching, not sure how else to describe. The breast I did have nipple correction is still numb but there is pain still there especially when I roll on the opposite side of that breast. I have another follow-up with my surgeon and I will be bringing this up, but it has been getting a little better day-by-day. If I could do it all over again, I would have postponed the nipple correction and seen if the BA would "push" the nipple out. I met another woman who said the her BA cured her nipple inversion issue. If the nipple would have never come out from the BA surgery, I would have still proceded with the nipple inversion.
If this really bothers you, look for a well experienced surgeon and research him/her. I believe if it bothers you that much, do something about it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions about it, but only you can say what's best for you. Chasing beauty (in all our own ways) has been a part of every culture.

Hey Girls,
I am in exactly same boat as you all, although i feel like my situation is worse as my boobs are sooo small, and with inverted nipples i just have no confidence at all. No partner has every seen my boobs im too embarrassed! it really affects me.
i recently went to see a lovely surgeon about breast enlargment, (and cried when i had to remove my bra!) and he said that having implants can sometimes push ur nipples out, i was just wondering if any one has had this and found this to be the case? if so i would love to hear from you, im so desperate.
He says i should try implants before nip op, but what if once i have the nip correction i feel happy enough without enlargement?
ahhh!
Please help!
Thanks
Nik xx

Here is a reply from a man. Inverted nipples to me and im sure most if not all
men dont matter in the least. As quoted from the movie "eat pray live" has a guy ever
Left the bedroom before sex when ur naked. First off, the guy is alone in a room with a woman JACKPOT. He's just won the lottery lol.
You could have 4 nipples and he will just say, mmm wow do I get to play with them all?lol Men, real men wouldn't care about physical things like that, I mean even boob size isnt really important. Small boobs have more personality, they're cutier, sometimes nicer ;) lol trust me to a guy hes just soooo happy that he gets to see and play with them lol.
So to recap, inverted nipples, is just fun, I mean the guy will make a game out of it, to see if he can arouse you enough to get them to point out lol. So ladies, please let them hang out and be proud lol ;)
Cause you letting us see them, is like us winning the lottery lol

I know I can tell you id be really "happy" lol

I'm so glad I came upon this site. I've always felt ashamed about my inverted nipples and thought I was the only one in the world with them!!

I had breast reduction in 2006 and they seem to pop out/get hard/sensitive which never happened before....but when they don't stay out I automatically get self conscious.

I'm considering trying the Avent Nipplet because I feel like maybe my nipples aren't as bad as they once were and maybe it'd work....the other part of me wants to visit the plastic surgeon who did my reduction and check out my options.

Not sure what to do but it is nice to know that I'm not the only one who has suffered with this problem.

Thanks everyone!

Alright so I am 18 years old and have inverted nipples. I'm really embarrassed about them, and recently I've been doing a lot of research on them. Last week I bought the Niplette and have been using it for two days now.. I've been reading a lot of blogs and forums about other girls that are in my situation, but I see that a lot of girls are saying that their nipples pop out periodically... Mine don't.. Like at all. They've always been in and nothing else. Is this normal or should I go to a doctor and just admit that I wasted $60 on a niplette that won't even work on me?

Ah, please help!
Thanks.

Hey, I had an inverted nipple. I used the niplette to get it back out. I got it because it was really very inexpensive compared to surgery and I wanted to breastfeed. If you have the surgery I don't think that you can.
The niplette worked beautifully! It was a bit of a pain initially coming off at night, but I used a bit of moisturiser on the nipple first and the seal seemed to work a lot better!
There is a good video about the niplette here with a link to amazon, I think they are about $28GBP
or about $39US.
I don't have enough posts but the name of the web site is womenbytes dtcom
